Spotless apartment very well positioned.

We spent 11 nights here at the end of February. Isabel was the perfect host and kept in touch throughout our stay with valuable recommendations on where to eat and what to see. Her English is a little faltering but a lot better than our Spanish! The apartment has everything you could possibly need and was spotlessly clean, equipped with everything a couple could possibly need including a cool box, bags for the supermarket, beach chairs and an umbrella It is very well positioned a 5 minute walk down to the seafront promenade and 5 minutes up to the old town square. It is also well placed for the tram which we used on several occasions to see the surrounding towns along the northern Costa Blanca. Altea itself is handily placed for getting around but not recommended for those with mobility issues. The pool is actually a community facility for which you receive a key but it is very nearby and visible from the balcony. There is an allocated parking spot in the underground car park directly opposite. The balcony is very small and wasn't much use to us as in February it lost the sun late morning but it would be more usable later in the season and does provide a view of the sea as you can see from the website. We found the bed to be just a tad firm but that seems to be commonplace on the continent (probably just we Brits getting soft). We would definitely stay here again on any return visit.

Lovely apartment very central

5* apartment in great location

We have stayed at a lot of apartments over a number of years and I can honestly say that this is one of the nicest and certainly one of the most well-equipped.

Isabel is a wonderful host and met us at the station on arrival. Her parents also gave us a lift to the station for our return. They are a lovely family.

The apartment itself is perfect for a couple being located on the edge of the old town and just a short walk from the station. There is use of a shared pool too, which is an added bonus.

I can highly recommend a stay here and feel sure that you would not be disappointed.

Thank you to Isabel (and her parents) for making our stay in Altea so memorable.

Séjour parfait!

J'ai passé une semaine très agréable dans l'appartement d'Isabel.

L'appartement est très bien situé, à quelques centaines de mètres du centre historique d'Altea, une petite ville nettement plus agréable que Benidorm ou Calpe.

En plus, l'appartement est extrêmement propre et très bien équipé. Tout y est!

J'ai aussi beaucoup apprécié l'accueil plus que chaleureux d'Isabel qui avait même prévu une bien jolie décoration de Noël.

Je suis convaincu qu'il sera difficile de trouver mieux: un rapport qualité/prix tout à fait exceptionnel!

Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

Die Wohnung liegt recht nah an der Innenstadt (Kirche mit der blauen Kuppel) in einem Haus mit 6 Wohneinheiten. Zum Meer sind es 15-20 min zu Fuß und da Altea auf einem Hügel gebaut ist, ist man am besten gut zu Fuß.

Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, Küche ist komplett, auch Tauchermasken und Stühle für den Strand sind da. Badewanne, Waschmaschine, Mikrowelle auch und einen großen Kühlschrank mit 2 großen Gefrierfächern sind auch da. Es gibt auch recht schnelles Internet mit Router und WLAN und LAN (aber 4G, kein DSL, Uplink ist dann nicht so schnell). Und einen großen Fernseher mit Full-HD. Morgens auf dem Balkon hat man den Sonnenaufgang über dem Meer. Abends und morgens gibt es gute Restaurants in der Nähe. Man braucht also hier kein Auto. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es in der Tiefgarage. Der Pool ist nicht direkt am Haus, sondern 50-70m entfernt.

Frau Guardiola ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, es hat alles sehr gut und freundlich und problemlos geklappt.

Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Excellent accueil et appartement irréprochable

Appartement ideal juste à côté de la vieille ville ou vous pourrez passer d agréables soirées. Le mardi vous pourrez profiter du marché primeurs à deux pas. Cette résidence bénéficie d une piscine ce qui vous permet d alterner entre plage et piscine.

L appartement est confortable et d une propreté irréprochable la propriétaire mets à notre disposition tout ce que l on peut avoir besoin.

Merci encore à Isabel pour son accueil et toutes les petites attentions qu elle prépare à ses locataires.Si nous revenons à Altea nous reviendrons et nous recommanderons cette location à nos amies

One of the recommended excursions is the practice of going by train to Denia. We'll take the train stop 'Altea', less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment. During the trip the mountainous area called 'Mascarat tunnels', spectacular scenery that is only accessible from the train crosses. All the way they are alternating areas of coastline with vines and citrus fields. Arriving in Denia (center of town) you can visit the Castle, stroll through the historic center, the fishing port and ... of course, eat a good rice or fideuá (paella with fat noodles, specialty area ).

Another good option is desplazarrse to Las Fuentes del Algar, located in the municipality of Callosa d'En Sarria. It is a natural site of rare beauty with waterfalls, pools, .... The owners are from this population and extensive knowledge of the area. They will be happy to accompany guests and teach the less crowded and ... the best kept secrets areas.
