Port d'Addaia First floor, air conditioned, two bed/two bathroom apartment , south facing with upper and lower patio area. Situated on private complex with large pool and separate children's splash pool. The apartment is a few yards from the shop, supermarket and restaurants. The pretty port area is a short walk and the beautiful beach of Arenal d'en Castell is about 5 minutes drive. The apartment provides a large south/westerly facing sun terrace leading from a spacious lounge/diner with TV/DVD and WiFi, and has a separate kitchen and rear balcony and lower patio/garden area. .Local facilities include Sailing, Fishing, Tennis and Country Walks. An 18 hole Golf Course is about 15 minutes drive . Menorca is a beautiful unspoilt island attracting everyone from families to couples who wish to enjoy the beaches, menorcan culture and just want to relax.

Apartment: Our apartment is situated on the first floor, facing south/west, on a private complex built on either side of a large communal free form pool with separate children's splash pool and well maintained gardens. Access to the marina is a short stroll through the village. There are restaurants, supermarket and shop located immediately behind the complex. The apartment entrance gives access to the lounge/dining room, with TV/DVD player, Wi Fi, limited Sky channels, dining table and chairs, two sofas and patio doors opening on to the large balcony with table, 4 chairs and 2 sun beds. There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine and the main bedroom has en-suite bathroom/shower. Second bedroom has spacious wardrobe and twin beds and Separate shower room. The view from the balcony overlooks the pool and is the perfect place to watch the sun set. There is also a small patio area downstairs.

Walking on Menorca introduces you to the island usually hidden away from mainstream tourism. The island is quite flat and the tracks and lanes are ideal for walking or cycling. All you need are the right shoes or you can hire a bike for very little money -

The old horsetrack - Cami de Cavalls, goes right round the island and offers access to almost all of the Menorcan coast. Triangle offer a complete guide or, if you prefer to share your walk with others, the local ecological group GOB organises free walks and itineraries and schedules are available. These walks are usually rounded off with a Spanish meal, at very low prices - but dont forget to take a big bottle of water with you.

Organised cycling itineraries are also available on request.

Main bedroom is spacious with king size bed, dressing table, chair, built in wardrobes and en-suite bathroom with bath/shower over, toilet and vanity unit. Second bedroom has twin beds and built in wardrobes. There is also a second shower room with large walk in power shower, toilet and basin. Kitchen: Modern, fully fitted and equipped kitchen with built in oven and hob, extractor, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Rear utility area with washing machine, sink and airer. The terrace is sunny and very spacious, with a south/west outlook. We have 2 sun beds, Table and 4 chairs. Linen and towels are provided except beach towels. Wi Fi also available in all bars and restaurants

Lovely, spacious, well equipped and comfortable

Had a fabulous week in this apartment, which is well equipped, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The very large pool was never busy, the water was warm, and there were always sun loungers free. The gardens were well cared for and the whole site was pretty well cared for, quiet and peaceful, but not so much that children couldn't play happily in the pool in the day. We had some lovely evenings on the terrace watching the sun go down, enjoyed a drink and the odd meal out at the local bars and restaurants. The local mini supermarket was extremely well equipped and had really friendly and helpful staff.

We loved the area, lots of coves, rocky inlets, beautiful beaches and an easy drive into Mahon. Our favourite beach nearby was Arenal d'son Saura (far end fron Son Parc resort). There are lots of completely undeveloped beaches in the Es Grau nature reserve, but Son Saura has a great beach, rocks, pedalled, khakis and a fab (but busy) beach bar. Our favourite meal was at Acuaria restaurant in Na Macaret ( a mile and a half from the apartment) we had a very long, lazy and fab lunch!

Enjoyed playing tennis on the local court (they could do with a new net!) and there are lots of footpaths and trails for walking and running.

Really love the chilled and easy vibe of this place and this lovely apartment. We're hoping to back again next year!

Perfect Holiday Accommodation

What a super holiday! The accommodation is perfectly located in Addaia, with a supermarket and a couple of bars and restaurants close by. Dedicated parking and a spacious apartment furnished with everything you could need. The balcony in the evening is perfect for a glass of wine and dinner and we so enjoyed looking at the stars. It is very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Being upstairs and on the end of one of the three blocks means you are part of the complex, while also giving you a measure of privacy. Its a short walk to a beautiful marina where you can get great paella. The pool is large and with other families using the complex, our two boys had a super time splashing in the pool and meeting new people. Addaia is a short drive to Mahon, and Cuidadella (45 mins) is a beautiful town. Both have excellent restaurants and things to see. Fiestas throughout the summer are amazing and worth going to to see the beautiful horses and festivities. There are a number of beautiful sandy beaches close by, and visits to Es Grau and Fornells are great days out. We had a super time, would highly recommend this property and hope to return soon. Great apartment, great location

We enjoyed a very relaxing time in this lovely apartment with our two children, aged 8 and 10. The pool was fabulous with both a shallow and deep end, and despite being the height of the season, it never felt crowded. The apartment had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the local restaurants, particularly the new tapas bar, and La Cantina down at the port. We were amazed how easy it was to travel around Menorca by car - nothing took very long to get to - and this apartment was so well located for the beautiful, shallow beaches at Son Parc and Arenal. Thanks for a wonderful holiday!

Excellent stay in a wonderful area of Menorca

The last time we stayed in Addaia was more than 12 years ago and we wondered how things would have changed. Menorca hasn't changed - it is just as lovely as ever. We were delighted with the apartment which is so conveniently situated, just two minutes walk from the local shop and three good restaurants. It is very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool is just wonderful - large and never busy, although that may be different in school holidays. We loved walking down to the Marina with it's little bar, and our favourite beach was at Son Parc, 10 minutes drive away. We hope to return again to enjoy this wonderful, peaceful island. Beautiful area of Menorca, Great apartment

Recently stayed in this very comfortable apartment, which is very well equipped and situated in a superb complex, very quiet and well maintained. Pool an added bonus as we were able to have all to ourselves at times. Breakfast on the patio was a wonderful start to the day. The air conditioning in the apartment was very welcome as we enjoyed a particularly hot week for September. We have visited Menorca a number of times and never tire of the island, we hired a car so were able to visit many areas of the island and had some excellent meals especially in Ciutadella. We also particularly enjoyed the meals at El Castillo which is only a short walk from the apartment. The local supermarket, though small, met all our needs, especially the fresh bread in the morning. Would definitely recommend staying at this apartment again.

Wonderful position, well equipped, great pool.

Addayia is a pretty and quite area of Menorca. The flat is clean, well equipped, comfortable furnishings. Perfect aspect for breakfast on the balcony. The pool is a good size, there are times you can have it all to yourself in at the height of the season. Shade is available. Good resonably priced shops very close and the same for resteraunts. Everyone very friendly and speak good English. The Port is so pretty. A car is useful to see other parts of the Island. I miss it already and will hopefully return. Highly recommend it to all age groups. Tony and l are 72 and 67 and our family had another appartment on site and they had an 8 year old daughter. The children played very well together and were no trouble at all. There is a good mix of Spanish and English. I wish l were there. Thank you Joan and Dave for sharing your appartment. The village and marina of ADDAIA is situated in the North East corner of Menorca, 25 minutes from Mahon and 15 minutes to Fornells. The beach of Arenal d'en Castel is close by as is the 18 hole golf course, resort and beaches of Son Parc.

Access to the village is on good roads and the apartment can be found in the center of the village, which has restaurants/bar, shop and supermarket. An allocated parking space is situated next to the apartment.

Menorca is a peaceful island with many interesting features - lovely beaches, pretty harbours and a genuine friendliness - all of which can only entice you to return.

Golf: 18 Hole Golf Course located within 15 minutes drive at Golf Son Parc Menorca. Private tuition available from Golf Pro Wednesday to Sunday.
