From the initial enquiry Marianne was very helpful and responded quickly to my questions.
The instructions on how to find the property and where to pick up the keys were very details and easy to follow.
We are a family of 4 with older teenagers so the 3 bedrooms where ideal. There was plenty of space for us, and 6 would be ok, but 8 might be a squeeze. The underground parking was a bonus and the children used the pool facilities after skiing every day.
The apartment is <5 mins walk to the slopes and the Golf chairlift. Not sure it's ski-in/ski-out but in better snow conditions (we had receding spring snow) you could have got closer. Our only down was the ski locker - no-where to put boots other than on the floor where they got dripped into from wet skis and didn't dry. A shelf or those pegs you can hang boots on upside down would be good.
Meribel Villages itself is quiet. There's a couple of places to eat, a popular après-ski bar which had live music a couple of times while we were there - but didn't go on into the night. A small store (do your big shop on the way if you can), and a ski shop - we pre-booked our skis from here. We also pre-booked ski passes to pick up from the Golf chairlift - saved queuing on the first day. If you want nightlife or just a visit to Meribel centre then there is a free shuttle bus from the village.
I'd recommend this apartment for families who don't want the noise of the main town. The Golf chairlift gives quick and easy access to the slopes and is right on the doorstep. We would certainly use this apartment again.

A huit personnes, il ne faut pas etre contre un peu de proximité mais cela etait precisé dans l'annonce.
Bref, Tres bien situé pour le ski de piste, la piscine, etc, assez bien situé pour le ski de fond.
Logement tres propre, très équipé, prorietaire au top !
