This is a great place to relax and explore from. The particular attraction is the terrace with sun soaked afternoons. It has recently been updated and redecorated.
It is not suitable for anyone with walking disabilities simply because there are steps up to the apartment and which, combined with summer heat could make it difficult. Apart from that it is very pleasant.
For a family it is wonderful but very young children would need be monitored given the inherent risk of any terrace plus the fact that the paintings are originals.
I am English and have been renting out another property nearby for 9 years to holiday visitors. In France I have an English agent who handles both properties and is on call when needed.
Ian Mort purchased this apartment in 1998
It is great. My Father bought it years ago and our family and friends have been staying there for holidays for years.
The terrace is simply wonderful given its size, the outlook over the sea.
This high quality and well appointed apartment was the ideal location for exploring our favourite region of France (whenever we managed to tear ourselves away from the stunning view from the large and well equipped terrace).
The sitting room and bedrooms are very comfortable and furnished to a very high standard. The same can be also be said of the bathroom and kitchen. I gather that the apartment has been recently renovated by the owners, who have clearly given great thought to the design and purpose of the apartment.
If you are lucky enough to book this apartment, prepare to be delighted!
A prestigious location with a large terrace over looking the Rade de Villefranche. Suitable for relaxing and everything else for a holiday. Nearby is the village of St Jean, a delight, Beaulieu sur Mer, and Villefranche. Nice and Monaco just a short hop by bus, car or train. Ventemille or San Remo in Italy a 40 minute drive or take the train, no parking problems that way.
There is a wonderful 20-30 minute walk along the coastal path to St Jean and there at Le Civette enjoy great views and drinks. Lots of places to eat when hungry and of good standards.
For swimming there are two very close beaches, Beaulieu and the Rade. These can be easily walked to provided a good state of fitness.
At Beaulieu there is the well known African Queen restaurant in the Marina, a bit pricy but well worth the expense. For a more local flavour try Le Café de la Paix.
The Super U in Beaulieu is excellent and does home deliveries for amounts over 70 Euros.
There is so much to see and do that it is hard to list it all.
Local bus services to Nice, Monaco and Menton are a few minutes away and very frequent.
