This apartment is furnished throughout with top quality furniture and fittings and would be a perfect place to enjoy your holidays. The lounge is spacious, has a flat screen TV, but more importantly, spectacular sea views through its full height, full width, patio doors. There is a dining area with comfortable seating for 6 people, again enjoying sea views. The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with top of the range German appliances - ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. The master bedroom has sea views and benefits from built in, fully equipped wardrobes, a super king-size bed, with en-suite bathroom, having bath, over bath shower, double vanity sinks and toilet.There is ample cupboard space and a hair dryer. The second bedroom has twin single beds, enjoys ample built in wardrobe space and an en-suite shower room, with vanity sink, toilet and shower cubicle. The terrace is furnished to an exceptional standard, and includes a 'romeo and juliet' lounger with canopy, luxurious sun loungers, outdoor dining set for 6 people, 2 large parasols and gas BBQ. A nice apartment, but.....
We spent the last two weeks of October in this light, spacious, well equipped apartment.
There are wonderful sea views from the terrace but it is very overlooked by all the surrounding wrap around balconies. Neighbours are also able to see into the main bedroom and living area from their terraces. The road noise isn't at all bad considering the proximity of the very busy dual carriageway to the front of the property. The outdoor furniture is good, but considerably more faded and frayed than the photos suggest.
However the big "but" is that, in heavy rain (and the area suffers from heavy rainfall), the apartment floods. Admittedly we were there during exceptional rainfall but there is evidence that it has flooded before. In our case we returned to the apartment to find that water had seeped under the terrace doors and was halfway across the living area. We set about mopping it up and trying to stem the flow with towels, but it just kept coming. After about an hour, the water started to come in through the front door as well as the outside drain was blocked, and water cascaded down from the upstairs apartments' access stairs. We phoned the "contact" we had been given to get help, but surprisingly he was in the UK but, eventually after a further 3 hours of non stop emergency mopping work, the housekeeper arrived who just gave us an extra mop and more towels but kindly made up beds in another apartment (which was dry but had not been used for some time and it looked it), should our apartment be completely flooded. Admittedly she also managed to unblock the front drain which helped reduce the flow, but she had other properties to look after.
After 6 hours, the rain stopped and we were able to control the situation, having saved the apartment from considerable flood damage to furniture and fittings.
The agent gave us a fair day's refund for the loss of a day's holiday, but, despite the warnings in the apartment instructions that any damage to fixtures and fittings will incur a charge, the owner refused to give us any compensation for the work we did to save extensive damage to the apartment.
So our advice is, should flooding occur again, and it might (check the web for the history of severe weather in Estepona) then just ensure that your own possessions are safe as you won't get much more than verbal thanks from the owner for doing what any public spirited person would do to save someones possessions!
It is unfortunate that you experienced this very unusual weather for southen Spain, we as the managing agents and the owner were very grateful for all your efforts, our housekeeper got to you as soon as she was able to considering how bad the weather was, there were many roads completely flooded and some washed away, the drains do get blocked with leaves etc due to the lack of rain washing them out periodically, we will discuss with the complex management to see if they can wash them out more frequently, the previous flood damage that you mentioned is not due to any severe weather but was caused by the owner of the aparment above over watering their terrace planters throughout the summer, this issue has now been resolved,
you were compensated for a lost day and we are grateful for your efforts and are glad that you enjoyed the rest of your stay.

A very comfortable apartment. Has everything you need. Some crockery needs replacing as it chipped and the glaze is cracked. As we don't eat out could have done with another couple of small saucepans, but other than that it was great. Lots of furniture on the balcony also very comfortable.

Spacy and lovely
The beautiful gardens give access directly to the promenade and beach. Just a short walk away, are two beach restaurants/bars. A further 10 minute walk, along the promenade, will bring you to the fishing village/town of Sabinillas, with its countless restaurants, bars and shops. The apartment is set equidistant from the very popular marinas of La Duquesa and Estepona, with, again, a huge selection of shops, bars and restaurants, giving ample opportunity for people watching and relaxing. Both enjoy local craft markets and enough discos to keep party people very happy!
Estepona is either a bus ride, or short drive away. This town is now known as the garden town of the Costa del Sol. With its very wide sandy beach, long, broad promenade and flowers adorning both promenade and streets. Estepona town has an extensive pedestrian shopping precinct and the square - Plaza de las Flores - is a venue for everyone's itinerary. For those visitors with younger children, there is a very sheltered bay just 4 kilometres from the apartment (Playa Cristo) This has a very broad sweep of sand, very shallow, calm waters, plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas and two excellent beach bars.
The famous town of Marbella is just a 20 minute drive from the apartment. Well known for its up-market shops, pedestrian, Moorish old town, as well as beautiful beach and, of course Puerto Banus, where one can spend hours admiring the beautiful yachts, cars and people, as well as visiting its world-famous restaurants and shops.
With all the attractions available on the Costa del Sol, one that is often missed is the train journey from San Roque to Ronda. This was listed in the BBC series, Top 5 train journeys in the world. THis one hour, 40 minute journey goes through some of the most spectacular scenery that we have ever seen. It was built by the British, to give rest and recuperation for its troops based in Gibraltar. Speaking of Gibraltar, this UK enclave can be visited very easily from the apartment, either by bus or car. The dolphin and whale watching is another 'not to be missed' excursion with some companies offering a free trip, if you do not see dolphins. The journey to the Top of the Rock, with its outstanding views of Africa, a walk around the Botanical gardens, a visit to Europa point (being the most southerly point of Europe), as well as duty free shopping in the main street and square. A visit to the caves is also worthwhile. If you plan to visit Gibraltar, do not forget to take your passport.
For the sporting clients, the list of amenities is endless. This coast is also known as the Costa del Golf, as there are in excess of 50 golf courses within a 30 minute drive of the apartment. These cater for all levels of skill and handicap, ranging from a local 9 hole course to the best courses in Europe, Valderrama and Finca Cortesin.
A little further away is the very laid back town of Tarifa, famous for its windsurfing and beautiful beaches and dunes of the Costa de la Luz. Just 10 kilometres beyond this lies Bolonia, with some of the best preserved Roman ruins to be found in Europe, as well as a beach that can only be described as magnificent.
Granada, with its world heritage site of the Alhambra and Generalife, is under a 2 hour drive away (please purchase your tickets on line, before travelling, as this may save a long queue).
Also a very easy 2 hour drive, is the wonderful city of Seville. This has so many attractions that it would be impossible to list them in the space provided, although .. not to be missed, are the cathedral and Plaza España.

A non returnable deposit of £150.00 GBP per week is payable on booking to secure the reservation. the balance together with either a £350.00 GBP returnable security deposit or accidental damage insurance waiver this is charged at £4.50 GBP per person, (this will give you £100.00 GBP cover per person for any accidental damage, this does not cover you for willful damage and negligent behaviour, this payment is non returnable), is due 6 weeks prior to commencement of hire. Hire commences at 16.00 hours on the date of arrival and terminates at 10.00 hours on the date of departure. All prices include final clean and a linen and towel change after 7 days on all stays of more than 10 days. A beach towel will be provided free of charge for each member of the travelling party.
