This attractive apartment is 200 metres from the church in the village of Dölsach. The village is 9 km from Lienz, the capital of East Tyrol. The apartment has two bedrooms. There is a balcony on the first floor which enjoys superb views of the Dolomites. The extra bed in the larger bedroom is suitable for a child. The apartment is an ideal base for excursions to the Grossglockner, Austria's highest mountain. You can also visit the 'three mountain tops' which is one of the best viewing points in the Alps. The Carinthian Lakes, the beautiful glaciers and the traditional farming villages of the Hohe Tauern National park are all well worth a visit. Lienz is close to Italy and Italian influences are noticeable. You can enjoy numerous gelaterias and designer boutiques which are also frequented by Italians.

Please note. The apartment is suitable for five adults. The maximum allowed is four adults and one child.

het was heerlijk vertoeven op ons vakantieadres, vooral de omgeving kon ons erg boeien. Alleen opgelet voor mensen met ademhalingsproblemen onze woning was volledig in vast tapijt met nog wat matjes er bovenop, wat niet de ideale combinatie is voor astmapatiënten of dergelijke. Verder niets dan lof over de ontvangst en de bereidwilligheid van de gastvrouw (intussen 95 jaar, maar erg mobiel en verstandelijk erg 'mee met de tijd').

Op wandelafstand is er een gasthof met restaurant. Winkels zijn er genoeg in de omgeving, van kleine superette tot mega groot, alleen een bakkerij ontbrak in het dorp ook als uitvalsbasis voor de al dan niet geoefende wandelaar is Dölsach ideaal. We hebben er prachtige herinneringen aan over gehouden.
