Sleeps 6-7. 3 Bedrooms. WiFi. Access To London (train 35 Mins), Windsor, Oxford.

A smart, 3 double bedroom apartment located in a separate annexe of a Georgian house (sleeps 6-7). The apartment has its own separate entrance and is completely independent from the main house. Conveniently located for easy access to London, Oxford, Royal Windsor, Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon and the beautiful areas of the Chiltern Hills and Cotswolds, with typical English towns and villages.

The apartment is 12 minutes walk from Beaconsfield railway station and town centre with shops, English pubs and restaurants. It is only a 30 minute train journey to central London. Beaconsfield is a historic market town on the old coach route from London to Oxford, with many buildings from the 16th and 17th century. It is famous for having the oldest pub in England, “The Royal Standard of England.” Bekonscot, a model village that delights children and adults alike, is a local attraction.

The apartment is well set back from the road, with a large, leafy driveway. The front door opens into a spacious hallway with a downstairs cloakroom/WC and a hanging space for coats. Stairs lead upstairs to the first floor, where the apartment is located. A very large and bright living room (22 x 18 feet) is furnished with a comfortable sofa and armchairs, works of art and antique pieces. It is equipped with a TV/DVD and free WiFi is provided. The dining table is in the large living room, and can sit eight people comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer /drier, electric cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, a full set of cooking utensils and tableware.

On the same floor there are three large double bedrooms. The master bedroom with a super-king size double bed has a fantastic view over the garden. The other two bedrooms are in the front of the house. One has a king size double bed and the other has two single beds each. A seventh accessory bed can be provided on request. Two baby cots and two high chairs/feeding chairs can be provided free of charge if required. The room with two single beds has its own wash basin and vanity unit. The apartment has an attractive bathroom with a bath and an integrated shower.

The house is surrounded by a large, secluded garden of over one acre, providing the apartment with lovely views across lawns, flowerbeds and mature trees. Occasionally use of the garden, barbecue, outdoor dining area and croquet lawn is permitted on request for an extra charge but it will depend on whether the main house is occupied at the time.

Wonderful stay!

A group of friends stayed in this apartment in Beaconsfield. It was a fantastic stay, we can recommend it in every way. It was bright, clean, provided with everything and in a very good location for the train station to London, just a 30 min journey. Beds are comfortable, which we really appreciated after a long day shopping and sightseeing.

Lovely apartment in excellent location

Extremely comfortable apartment furnished and equipped to a high standard. Perfect location, in walking distance of Beaconsfield Station and the new town. Local pub/restaurant less than five minutes walk away and lots of public footpaths for a countryside walk.

Truly excellent

I cannot rate this apartment highly enough. We stayed in December for 10 nights before leaving the UK to move overseas. Laida and Nigel went the extra mile to make our stay hassle-free during a fairly stressful time. The apartment was perfect for our family of 4 plus 2 grandparents, ample space and well equipped. The location was spot on, there really is nothing bad to say! Thank you Laida and Nigel, we hope to see you again!

Perfect apartment

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment and found it had everything we needed (two double rooms and 3 single beds for the children). The lounge and dining table were sufficiently spacious that we could invite a couple of friends for breakfast one day. The kitchen had everything that was needed and the apartment was very clean with relaxing views of the garden that belongs to the main house. A short walk into beaconsfield with good shops and restaurants and Bekonscot model village which we all enjoyed very much. The train into London was around 25mins so we enjoyed a trip there too. We would definitely stay here again if we were looking for somewhere in the area.

Comfortable, cozy and charming.

We stayed here for two weeks in January on a combined business trip/family visit. The apartment was part of a charming Georgian house and had a lovely feel about it. It was very cozy and comfortable and overlooked the beautiful gardens.

Our hosts Nigel and Laida were very helpful and kind and made sure we had everything we needed.

The apartment was in walking distance of the Station and Beaconsfield New Town with its shops and restaurants which we found very convenient.

We felt very at home and would definitely come back again.

New years eve family break

Had a great stay in this lovely apartment. 4 adults, 4 kids and a baby all easily accommodated. Walking distance into Beaconsfield where we had a fantastic meal at the Crazy Bear. Friendly hosts in the house next door, on hand if required. Highly recommend for a weekend break

The railway station is twelve minutes walk and there are regular trains to central London (journey time 30 minutes). Oxford is 35 minutes by car and Windsor, with its famous Windsor Castle where the Queen still lives, is just 25 minutes away. Shakespeare’s town of Stratford-upon-Avon is 1 hour 20 minute drive. Within easy reach are Regents Park Zoo in central London and Chessington World Adventure, a zoo and theme park. Also easily accessible are Legoland, Thorpe Park theme park and Woburn Abbey Safari Park, all popular attractions. There are numerous historic buildings that are open to the public, such as Chenies Manor, a 15th century house with a gorgeous garden, both open to visitors.

The apartment is also ideally positioned for those who wish to attend Ascot and Epsom horse races, Henley Regatta, Dorney rowing lake and various premier league football and rugby events in London. It is also close to the famous private schools of Eton, Harrow and Wycombe Abbey.
