Magdalena Terrace, offered by Genteel Home company, it's a magnificent luminous apartment. It's composed of a bright living room with dining space from where you could access to the completely private terrace -furnished with garden furniture that offers amazing views of the city centre. The kitchen is equally equipped with all necessary; one of the bedroom has a double bed, the second one has two individual beds an the third one has bunk beds. For their part, both bathrooms are complete.

These features, along its privileged location in the city centre next to the famous Magdalena church, makes it undoubtedly the ideal apartment to be in the center of Seville.

Great great great

Third time we rented the apartment for a week in colder months. Great great great. The terrace with view and bbq are wonderful. The Corte Ingles and bars/ tapasbar nearby is a blessing. This year genteel arranged taxi transport from Malaga Airport. The taxi driver even took us for a free drive to some Jamon shops to buy best Bellota! And of course we bought! Once a year Sevilla for us is a tradition and MUST. Until next year.

The best!!

Our group of four had a lovely stay in Seville, and much of it was owing to our beautiful accommodation at Magdalena Terrace.

The apartment is spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, and well stocked. The kitchen is well supplied with dishes, appliances, cooking and dining essentials of all kinds. Perhaps the best part is the beautiful terrace, which includes tables and chairs for relaxing and enjoying the gorgeous view, dominated by the cathedral and bell tower.

This is a great city to walk, and the location of the apartment is perfect for that activity. It is only steps away from Plaza Nueva, with its extensive variety of shops and outstanding restaurants. In another direction is the river with its peaceful path - again, well within walking distance. A well-stocked market was just around the corner. I also want to add that we always felt safe in this area.

I would be remiss if I didn't commend the staff at Genteel. We were met on our arrival and shown the entire apartment. All our questions were answered. Throughout our visit, we communicated several other questions and requests to staff members; they were always prompt, cordial, and helpful with their responses.

If I could return to Seville (and I hope I can), this is the place I would want to stay.

Great Terrace, Strange Layout,Ppoor Management

Loved the terrace with stunning views. Kitchen was not near the lounge or dining room area.

Had two issues with the management company.

First, we had several emails indicating that I would not have a telephone with which to call their concierge service when I was at the train station and they agreed to meet me at the apartment at a specified time. They did not. Finally after waiting 1/2 hour past the appointed time, I struggled to find a way to contact the management company (I was able to get the concierge at the hotel next door to call them). She showed up 1/2 hour later (1 hour after the agreed upon meeting time) saying they had had an employee out sick and/or another emergency but she was "on her way" when I called. My email of complaint was met with a quick response that accepted really no responsibility nor did they offer any compensation.

Second, four of us rented a three bedroom apartment. But because it was two men and two women they assumed it was two couples and only made up two bedrooms. We were advised upon check in that if we wanted to use the third bedroom WE could just change the sheets from one room to the other. I think if you promote (and charge) for a three bedroom flat ALL the beds should be made up rather than either changing things yourself or having to discuss your private sleeping arrangements.

So, I checked "I loved it" because it was that or "not really" which I thought was too harsh for the property itself. So I gave it a three star review and would not recommend staying at any of the GenteelHome properties because of my dissatisfaction with the management company.

First of all, I would like to apologize for the inconveniences you suffered during your check in. We always try our best for our clients but sometimes unexpected events happens like this case. That is reasons why we tell our guets we do not have a reception and we ask them important indications when they make their reservation. In these indications, it is necessary a telephone/e-mail/whatsapp/message where our clients can be reached trying to avoid long waits. About the beds linen, it is very strange! we always leave all the beds ready. In any case, if you'd had told us we would have make them inmediately. Once again I would like to apologize for the inconvenience during your stay and will make sure that this misunderstanding will not happen agin in the future.

Apartment exactly as pictured

My sister and I stayed 2 weeks at Magdalena terrace. Highlights: Apartment very clean upon arrival, space looked similar to photos. The terrace was much larger than we pictured, actually wrapped around with room to put out the two chaise lounges (provided) and still have plenty of chairs around table.

Fabulous views especially at night when you could see the cathedral and Giralda lit up. Also nice view of Magdalena church.

Location couldn't have been better. Half a block to pedestrian zone with shops, restaurants, etc. Across the street from five star Melia Colon hotel with nice bar and live jazz singer twice weekly, flamenco once a week. Five minute walk to MAS supermarket, more restaurants, and 10 minutes walk to covered market with best baker in the city, 15 minute walk to Triana market.

Beds comfortable. Air conditioner great. Living room comfortable.

Paula checked us in, very informative and helpful. We later had a problem with TV and they sent someone out without hours.

All of the above made our stay wonderful. We would like to return.

I will however, mention few things that may not be so evident from apartment description:

Kitchen is very small with only a two burner stove top. Hard for two people to work at same time.

Both bathrooms very small without much room for makeup, toiletries, etc. I am small and couldn't shower without bumping elbows on shower wall.

Larger bedroom is not en-suite. It is the smaller double bed room that has the attached bathroom.

Kitchen located at opposite end of apartment to the separate dining room and door to terrace.

Also, for those paying with a credit card issued in USA, be aware that Genteel's bank changes the euros into dollars themselves at the cash rate rather than billing the credit card in euros and having the US bank do the conversion, as is usual. In effect you end up paying the rate for cash rather than the preferred rate one gets with a credit card. On the day genteel charged my credit card in dollars, I also had other purchases in euros charged to my account in the usual manner (allowing my bank to make the conversion). The result was I ended up paying 5% more for the Genteel euros than for the other euros on the same day. I asked Genteel to bill me in euros as per our contract and they simply said their bank does the conversion. No discussion.

But, we had a fabulous time in Magdalena Terrace. The location, terrace, cleanliness and comfort won out.

We would like to comment you that the bathrooms has the measurements that the laws set for the size of the apartment and other guest never commented us that the bathrooms were smalls. Any case, definately, we respect your opinion. About your balance, time ago, Homeaway manages them, directly and they always do it in our currency (Euro), so it doens't have any increase in the price of the apartment, we can guarantee it. Long time ago, we only could accepted the payments in the currency ( dolar), cause the bank was working at the moment with this currency. But these situation was resolved. Thanks you very much again, we hope that you are staying with us again. We are sure that we have a highest score in your next time!

Very nice and cozy.

It is a great and beautiful apartment, placed in the heart of the old part of Seville. It has a very nice and sunny balcony, with a view to the cathedral and a big part of the old town. Good for a family of 4 persons (space for 2 more) with 2 toilets... and a lot of room for all of us. Recommendable :-)

The apartment Palacio is located in the best area in Madrid, just in front of the Palacio Real, the gardens of the Casa de Campo and Plaza de Oriente, and pretty close from some emblematic places like the Cathedral of the Almudena, the Royal Theatre and Plaza de la Ópera. It is easily accessible from other places like Puerta del Sol or Plaza de España, and it is also well connected with all the public transports. There is also a huge variety of restaurans and terraces nearby where you can taste the best cuisine in Madrid within a great atmosphere.
