About Cha cha
We are a local family. I was born and raised here. As well as my son. My husband is a working carpenter and I work in Honolulu. My son teaches surf lessons and works in a local popular eatery. We are working and enjoy sharing our home with visitors. You are sharing our beautiful space so ask that you are respectful of that. We are of your privacy as well. Although we like to interact if you are open to it. Sometimes our work schedules don't jive with our guests fun schedule. Please don't mistake this for indifference. We are always concerned for your comfort. It is not a party house, so if that's what you're looking for there are other options out there. We basically are early to bed for the guys and I return late in the evening. Not as early a riser as they are.. We do have a young dog who pretty much is a house dog. He does go out for play. So if this is a problem let us know and we will keep him contained. He is usually in or tied on our deck. Please contact us if this is a fit for you. Aloha,

Clean, quiet, friendly!
We had such a great time staying here! It was easy to find, and was literally in the best location we could have asked for!
So convenient it has a big kitchen, lounge and nice ensuite to the bedroom. My boyfriend and I didn’t spend too much time staying indoors (we woke up at about 7 am and went straight to the beach) but the times we were in the house we had a great time!
Zach welcomed us right away and we had a great chat with him, super friendly! Would absolutely stay here again!
Beautiful Property and Location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for what we wanted. A bit off the beaten path, but close to the beach, grocery store and hiking opportunities. The kitchen was well stocked and there were even some beach chairs and masks for your use. The only downside was the air conditioning. There is no air conditioning, there was a standing fan, which helped, but in July it gets hot and muggy.
If you are interested in surfing we highly recommend a lesson with Zach. He was fantastic. I've never been surfing before, and he was able to get me standing up and riding waves. It was a wonderful experience.
Nice Place on North Shore
We enjoyed staying here. The apartment was nice and clean with all the things we needed for a comfortable stay. Though we didn't get a chance to use the pool (we were too busy swimming in the ocean), it was very nice in a beautiful setting.
The apartment is only a five minute drive to the beach and a grocery store if you need supplies.
We got to meet Cha Cha and her son, Zack a couple of times. Both of them were very friendly and accommodating, and were not intrusive at all. Though the apartment is attached to a larger house, we did not feel as though our privacy was compromised. It sits in the back corner and no one bothered us at all.
Peaceful stay at a lovely property
We very much enjoyed our 3 day stay at Charlotte's apartment. It is very spacious, has all the amenities you need, although does not have a stove, but didn't need it anyway. The drive up the hill might be daunting to some, but we had no issues and just added to the seclusion and serenity of the property. Very convenient location to places like Waimea Bay,Sunset Beach, Shark's Cove for great snorkelling,Haleiwa town, Laniakea Beach (Turtle Beach), Foodland, food trucks and Ted's Bakery for delicious pies, sweets and breakfast and lunch. Dole plantation is also a 10-15 minute drive. The apartment itself is lovely. My husband enjoyed a refreshing swim in the pool every morning and loved the cable TV, I loved the lush gardens outside our apartment. Very peaceful, only the sounds of nature can be heard. Even though there a quite a few cars in the parking area, never heard any noise from anyone. Charlotte is very gracious and accommodating, sharing tips about the area and even came down at 9 pm when my husband was having trouble operating the cable TV. Charlotte and her family live upstairs and there is another apartment next door with permanent renters, but again, never heard any noises, Our apartment has its own separate entrance. We met Charlotte's son Zac, as he was feeding his chickens, and he was also very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the use of the cooler and snorkelling equipment in the apartment. The kitchen is also well stocked with the basic necessities. If I can make one suggestion, maybe a clothes hanging rack that you can put outside to dry swimwear would be appreciated. All in all, a great place, nice hosts and very good value for money. We have been to Oahu countless times, my sister lives in Honolulu and my husband works for Qantas, and always do a day trip to the North Shore. This is the first time we have actually stayed in the North Shore and it won't be the last. It is such a nice change from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki and Honolulu. Thank you Charlotte and family, we will certainly consider you for any future stays in the North Shore. Mahalo!
Thank you Michelle!
Great idea for the rack outside. Will be adding that. I can't believe I didn't think of it. I've seen peopledrape their towels on the lanai chairs. Consider it done! Hooper to see you again
Couldn’t of asked for a more aloha expierience.
Beautiful place for a great price. Loved the garden, chickens, chill people and how welcoming and relaxed it was. Always had privacy and the inside had everything I could’ve asked for and more. Whoever commented about the rust on the fridge must be very nit picky because it was only on the outside and not even noticeable at all. Definatly will be back again if I get the chance.I gotta day again thank you very much and sorry for the late review!
Cha cha & Kevin were absolutely fabulous it was a beautiful place and a much needed break from the grind of the city. We absloutely loved it. Thank you so much for your hospitality and warmth.
It was a pleasure to give Mel and Pat a respite from the city. They were warm and friendly. Great Aloha vibes. I even got a gift of the Famous Kilani bakery brownies...yum!
