The house is situated in a quiet neighbourhood a couple of kms from the centre of the village of Fanano, which can be reached with a short walk into the woods.
It used to be a drying room for chestnuts and was completely restored in 1990. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen (microwave, big fridge with freezer, stove and oven), with a table seating 6, a cosy living room with a sofa, 2 armchairs and a sofa bed and an open fire which can be used in winter for barbecues or simply to relax with your cup of tea. There are 3 double bedrooms (king size wooden beds in all of them), 2 on the first floor and 1 in the charming tower on the second floor. The house has 2 bathrooms, one on the ground floor, with a shower, and one on the first floor, with a bathtub. There are two separate entrances, one on the ground floor and the other on the first floor. Wooden floors everywhere, independent heating, 2 TVs with satellite channels and plenty of wardrobes and closets to store your stuff.
The property has a big fenced garden with parking space for two cars, chestnut trees, a patio, an outdoor barbecue, a garden shed and a big cave. It is the perfect place to chill out after a day skiing or hiking on the Cimone, or just to relax on a rainy day.
