This old renovated house is situated in the medieval capital of Amorgos, beneath the venetian castle, dating back to the 13th century. It is quite comfortable, ideal for families or friends, consisting of 2 bedrooms, a large living room with a special dining area, a kitchen and a bathroom. There is a little terrace where the guests can relax and enjoy the view or even have a meal. Although it is close to the centre of the village, it is also extremely quiet and a relaxing holiday is quarantied. Walking along the beautiful, narrow, stone paved streets, among the picturesque, white houses, tightly hugging each other and sometimes forming arcades above the lanes, will take you back to the past, at a time when the residents escaped pirate attacks, passing from one roof to another, until they finally found safety on the castle. The numerous churches scattered among the houses complete the magic and everything looks as if it was a film scenery. Hora is only 2 kilometres away from the unique monastery of Amorgos, which is clinged to the steep cliff, like an oyster, overlooking the infinite Aegean Sea. Furthermore, diving into the clear, blue, transparent water of Agia Anna below is an experience which will be always be remembered. Finally, Hora is ideal to set out for long walks along the paths to enjoy scenic views or visit archaeological sites.
