90 square meters, non-smoking, no-pets centrally heated and fully air-conditioned, immaculate.

The apartment building is situated half a block from the River Seine and there's a Vélib station right next to it. The Metro (Ligne 5) is exactly one stop away from Ligne 1 (which takes you through the Marais, the Louvre, the Rue de Rivoli, the Champs-Elysées, Arc de Triomphe, etc.) and one stop away from Ligne 10 (which takes you to the 5th and Odéon and St. Germain des Près ... all the way to Boulogne). Plus Ligne 5 takes you directly to the Gare du Nord (and Gare de l'Est), as well as to the Place d'Italie, which is a great center for Chinese and Thai food. There are tons of cafés around.

The apartment

Overlooking the Seine and the Yachting Harbour of Paris or 'Port de l'Arsenal', where a number of diverse types of boats are moored, the 90 sqm two-bedroom apartment is a few steps from the historical Place de la Bastille where you find the Opera de Paris. Boulevard de la Bastille faces the nautical entrance to the Canal St-Martin and all the waterways that connect it to Paris and the Seine.

The 'Port de l'Arsenal' is a *marina* in the heart of the city, really charming in a Parisian way and a wonderful place to walk, jog, have a café, picnic: there's even a park for young children there. Enjoy a cruise on Canal Saint-Martin leaving at the foot of the apartment ! Another wonderful green space nearby is the 'Coulée Verte' above the Viaduc des Arts that was featured in a recent film starring Julie Delpy and Ethan Hawke.

The most central location in Paris

Within a short walking distance is the Royal Place des Vosges, the Marais, the Ile Saint Louis, the Picasso Museum, the Maison Rouge (latest modern art museum to open in Paris), art galleries, the “Rue de Lappe” and its many ethnic restaurants and pubs,

If you walk across the Austerlitz Bridge you find yourself directly in the 5th arrondissement with the Jardin des Plantes and its zoo (great fun for children), the Latin Quarter and its Open Air Sculpture museum.

When you arrive from Charles de Gaulle-Roissy airport, board RER B (regional fast train) stop at Gare du Nord. Hop onto line 10, in the direction of Place d'Italie for 8 stations; stop at Quai de la Râpée: the apartment is 25m away. It is also very close to 3 other metro lines and many bus routes taking you all over Paris. There are even direct buses from Roissy to Gare de Lyon!

You may want to go further afield to Versailles (via Gare d'Austerlitz), or Euro-Disney (via Gare de Lyon)! Ditto if you are using Paris as a base for exploring Europe, board a train from Gare de Lyon to go to the South of France, Italy, and Switzerland, from Gare du Nord (8 stations away) to go to Central London in exactly 2 hours.

A superb view is the plus of the functional and entirely refurbished apartment located on the 6th floor of a late 19th century building (elevator, interphone security, concierge, armored door). It is full of English-language books and videos: children are more than welcome. With two south-facing windows looking over the Paris Yachting Harbour, the river Seine, the Pantheon and two east-facing rear windows looking over the private garden and a row of 19th century buildings the apartment is light, sunny and extremely quiet. But the best about it is that at night you will enjoy the unforgettable view on sparkling Eiffel Tower every hour for 10 minutes on the hour.

Another plus: this building has a real garden out back, which is fairly rare in Paris.

The apartment has two large bedrooms with ample storage space, one with a kingsize bed, the other with two twin beds transformable into a kingsize. The sofa in the living room transforms into a kingsize bed (rare in Paris) with a wonderfully firm mattress. All the beds are new, extra-firm and of prime quality. Central heating and reversible air-conditioning in all rooms, linen provided, towels provided, glass ceramic cooktop, clothes dryer, dishwasher, freezer, fridge, microwave, oven, washing machine, seating for 6 people, dining room seating for 6 people, 1 full bathroom with large Italian shower and additional toilet, plus second separate toilet, audio tape player, CD, DVD player,VCR, radio, stereo system, flat screen TV set, video library for kids, lots of books in all sorts of languages, unlimited broadband internet access,wifi, garage (2 spaces), absolutely non smoking, pets not allowed, wheelchair inaccessible.

On a practical note, very close by there are ATMs, inexpensive restaurants, organic vegeterian restaurants, small supermarkets, including the farmers' markets on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays where fresh local produce can be bought.

This is an area where real people live and has all the coffee shops, stores and eating place that they demand. No overpriced tourist traps.

Why Caterina chose 12th Reuilly

This is part of my home : the independent apartment is located on the 6th floor (lift). I live on the fifth floor. So it is very easy for me to provide my guests with good service : it is very reassuring for them as well.

I am allowed by French law go rent it out for a maximum of 120 days per year.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment is uniquely central and enjoys a magnificent view over the whole of Paris. Dining in style with the Eiffel Tower twinkling in the distance is much appreciated by all our guests.

Ideal home for Paris vacation

A lovely apartment in a perfect location in the heart of Paris. A beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower and several other Paris landmarks. It was an easy walk to Place Bastille, Gare de Lyon, wonderful cafes and restaurants, the metro, Bateau Bus, and Paris' local bike rental stop. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay from many guidebooks and maps of Paris to a kitchen with all the supplies you need. Both the owner and on-site manager were very responsive and hospitable, providing great information and available when we had any questions. I would highly recommend this apartment to family and friends, and will be sure to come back next time we're in Paris!

Great Apartment in a Great Location!

My family and I were pleasantly surprised to arrive and see that the apartment was exactly as had been presented in the photos and by Catherine, the owner. It was clean and neat as a pin. The views of the Eiffel Tower at night were fabulous. We loved the neighborhood and its proximity to great restaurants and attractions, including one of my favorites, the infamous bookstore Shakespeare & Co. It's a great area in which to walk, but you can also use the metro. I'll also say that Catherine was organized and detailed in her communications, which made planning easier. And thanks to Jenny, who showed us the ropes. I can't wait to return to Paris!

Wonderful Apartment in Paris

This apartment was perfect for my family of 4 adults and two children from Chicago!! Everything was first class with modern amenities, good air conditioning and a strong Wifi. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathroom and 1/2 bathroom were modern with all the amenities.

It is on the sixth floor with an unbelievable view of Eiffel Tower and other monuments in the city. The location is an easy walk to Notre Dame along the Seine River. The Metro station is a two minute walk from the apartment.

It was a pleasure working with Catherine, the owner. She was very accommodating and showed great concern for my grand children.

I would highly recommend this apartment !!

The best location to the subway, great view, very comfortable accommodations.

We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay in Paris. We especially loved the view every night of the Eiffel Tower twinkling in the distance. The apartment was very clean and the beds comfortable. We could not believe how convenient it was to the subway and the bike stations. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Wow! This is the place to stay in Paris

This was our first overseas VRBO experience. We use it in the states often but never abroad. Catherine is a lovely and accommodating host and Jenny is always available to help. We loved this flat. It was roomy, quiet, and has a lovely view of the Siene and the Eiffel Tower. The location is wonderful for sight seeing and the metro is a few steps away. We wandered the city and returned each evening to our "home" with it's very comfortable beds. When we return to Paris we will definitely book again!! Thank youfor a wonderful stay.

Great Location and apartment space!

We loved the location, the apartment space, the good directions, and recommendations. The view of the canal and the Sine River with the Eiffel Tower in the background was beautiful. It was hot a few afternoons so the air conditioning was a wonderful luxury. The washer/ dryer and dishwasher worked well and the beds were comfortable. Catherine and Jenny were very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again! Awesome!

Prices are for the apartment in euros all included.
Extra maid service can be arranged. A 25% deposit is required on booking (Paypal, wire).
Balance payable via bank transfer (IBAN) or Paypal or cash on arrival.
There is a 1,000€ fully-refundable Paypal security deposit against damage. The deposit is returned, normally within two hours of check out, when the two sets of keys are handed back, provided you return the apartment in the same immaculate state as you received it.
Changeover day is any time but in July and August we prefer one week from Saturday to Saturday. We will accommodate other check-in dates where possible. Check-in is normally 1pm, but if we can, we try to accommodate guests arriving on overnight flights from North America. We always keep your luggage before you check in if the apartment is not ready; also on check out if you are on a late plane.
Check-out is normally 10am to help same-day changeover cleaning. Special arrangements are possible depending on other bookings.
Cancellation Policy - 100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
Also 100% refunded if I can rebook for the same period.
If you want to use the parking space add 25 euros per night.
