The apartment is maintained by our Housekeepers & Co-ordinators extraordinaire, Maddy's team prepare it immediately after the guests check out and it’s therefore available 24/7.

The Concierge Team who are on-site 24/7 have your apartment keys, which means you have no hassle gaining access regardless of your time of arrival.

The Concierge & I are available 24/7 if you have any urgent needs, which you must address immediately. I provide full mobile, email and IM contact details for me once you have booked the apartment.

Guest Access

Before you arrive I’ll provide you with a detailed inventory so you know what’s in the apartment and importantly what you don’t need to bring yourself!

The apartment is located in Icona Point, Warton Road, E15 and was constructed for the Olympics, 2012.

Access is through a communal entrance managed by the Concierge Team. A lift takes you to the second floor where you enter the apartment through its own private front door.

The apartment block been recently built, provides super access to one and all. So if you are arriving with prams or heavy luggage you will have relatively straightforward and easy access into the apartment.

Once inside access to all room is on same level so moving around inside the apartment is very easy. 

Access to the apartment is obtained through a set of keys, which are held for you by the Concierge team.

They’ll be expecting you so please have some form of ID, passports or ID are best as we can never be too careful in providing safe and secure accommodation.

Interaction with Guests

Our approach is providing you, the guest, with the freedom you require to fully enjoy your stay at the apartment. In advance of your arrival I will provide you with our ‘welcome pack’ document that sets out what you need to know about the apartment when you arrive.

On arrival the Concierge team will provide you with your keys and can answer any questions relating to the building, If you have more specific questions about the apartment, which I did not answer in the guide please do phone or text me.

During your stay do contact us at any time by text message, what’s app or phone if you have any questions. On the morning of check out please let yourselves out and leave the keys with the concierge team.

Our housekeeper will arrive on or around 11h00 to undertake our check-out requirements. We’ll contact if we have any concerns or find any personnel items belonging to you. Please have a safe onward journey.

The Neighbourhood

The apartment is located in E15 London is directly opposite the 2012 olympic village. It's ideal if you to visit this iconic site or are taking part in events at this venue.

It’s also within a short distance of many of London's famous sights, from the River Thames to Canary Warf, to the Tower of London, the City of London and London City Airport.

The HMS Belfast, London Dungeons, Westminster Cathedral, London Eye, West End, London’s theatre land and the City of London are but 15-20 minutes by tube.

There are lots of shops in Westfield Sopping Complex and the best grocery stores nearby are the Tesco (5 minute walk) Sainsbury (10 minute walk) or Marks & Spencer (10 minute walk) in Stratford High Street.

Stratford has a veritable feast of international & ethnic restaurants, pubs and cafes. For those looking for late nightlife there are a number of clubs on in the West End, which is close by.

Getting Around

There is an abundance of public transport (bus, cabs, trains & tubes) within 0-10 minutes that provides access to local, national & international travels (trains, planes & automobiles), London’s many historic and beautiful attractions.

Other Things to Note

The apartment is available for short or long-term letting and ideally suits entrepreneurs, people on the move, lifestyle travellers, small groups, individuals, couples, families with young babies or children on holiday, business or backpacking trips in London for a few days, weeks or months.

This apartment is not available for parties during your stay, please do not book it if this is your requirement. If you do have a requirement for a party you can discuss if you wish.

Directions and helpful tips

Leave Stratford tube station, turn right in to Montfichet Road, walk 6-8 minutes, under bridge, Warton Road is in front of you and Icona Point is on your left.

Enter the building, ground floor, while asking the Concierge for Apartment Keys please provide photo ID proof.

Why Andrew Marshall chose Newham

Growing up in Dublin, Ireland could hardly be considered as the prime motivator for wanting to live and own a property in Stratford. From an early age I had a found affection for the area whether it's the city of London, the Thames or any number of great London landmarks. However, when to opportunity presented itself I jumped in with both feet to buy and live in this smashing location.

The apartment, located minutes from the River Thames and Putney Bridge where the University Boat Race starts has its own private entrance and even a little garden! It a short walk to Putney, Hammersmith, Fulham, Bishops Park, which is ideal for the kids to play in and of course Central London and the City are on its doorstep for those with pressing retail therapy and business maters to attend to. Simplicity in itself!l

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment is situated in a new purpose built apartment complex. Nestling in the side streets from Stratford High Street there is little traffic to disturb guests. Once you enter the front door you leave the hustle and bustle of London behind you for the luxury of this apartment. Fully refurbished and extended in 2012, today it includes one double bedroom with built in wardrobes, one bathroom.

The bright airy living is a fantastic entertainment centre for you to sit in, relax, watch telly, DVD, listen to the radio of sit back, snooze while reading or watch the world go by outside. The kitchen is comfortable, very modern with all mod con at your fingers tips for those wishing to take it easy and have a delicious home cooked meal or entertain guests.

Comfortable apartment in a convenient location

We stayed with our two young children (2 and 5). The apartment had plenty of space for us and was in a very convenient location just across the road from the Olympic park, 10 min walk from Westfield shopping centre and with a tesco at the end of the street. The concierge in the building was very helpful and the owner, Andrew, provided detailed information before our arrival and got in touch during our stay to make sure that everything was OK.

The only downside for us was that the apartment overlooks the train line and so there is a noticeable amount of train noise. The weather was very warm on the weekend that we stayed and the train noise meant that we couldn't have the windows open at night. Unfortunately for our family, an apartment on the other side of the building without the view of the Olympic park but also without the train noise would have been more suitable.
