Newly refurbished 1850's Victorian, gorgeous, bright, romantic, characterful ground & upper floor two storey apartment in the heart of Kemptown, Brighton.

Fully equipped for self-catering, with own private entrance & private 5m sq south facing balcony off the kitchen to soak up the Brighton sun plus sunny Juliette balcony from the dining room.

Feels like your own house! Perfect for a romantic break or a family holiday.

Sleeps up to 4 with 2 bedrooms, one King sized four poster bedroom plus one double bedroom. Large family bathroom with 2 lovely marble sinks rescued from the Waldorf Hotel London. Beach less than 5 minutes walk away, passing across George Street filled with bars cafes restaurants & shops. Superb location perfect for the local shops, pubs bars, restaurants & beach. An easy stroll to the lively St James Street & the famous Brighton Lanes eating & shopping streets.

We have refurbished the apartment using recycled wooden beams to create a lovely wooden floor throughout the hall, lounge & dining area. The pink painted kitchen is bespoke with oak top & hidden appliances. Original white painted staircase leads to a large bathroom with lovely shower & 2 marble vanity units from the Waldorf & 2 bedrooms which have original sanded floorboards. We use characterful furniture & fittings sourced from the local antique markets making this apartment uniquely styled in a location considered to be one of the nicest streets in Kemptown, Brighton.

We love Brighton for the interesting people, restaurants, activities & places to visit. We found this property after searching a long time & fell in love with its charm & cosy feel. We have spent time & effort renovating it but have retained the original character. There are lots of Brighton cultural events but its lovely just to stroll on the beach. It true what they say - its like London by the sea!

What makes this apartment unique

We love the character of our home from home & believe you will too. Its an 1850's painted Victorian house on a well respected street in Kemptown. Its furnished with a mix of furniture & fittings of various eras found locally in Brighton. Our front door is seaside blue, our shutters are yellow & our kitchen is pink! We are just around the corner from the independent & interesting shops, restaurants & bars of George street, a short walk to St James Street & close to the sea front! We have a lovely private south facing decked area from our kitchen - great for al fresco dining! We have a lovely romantic master bedroom with a four poster bed & a large bathroom with wonderful marble & chrome vanity units from the Waldorf Hotel London.

Brighton has superb rail links from London & a very efficient bus service around the city & beyond.

Fantastic

This is the fourth time I am doing this review (because every time I try my computer has thrown me out) and this is why it is so late. We stayed in this wonderfully designed house last May for a week. It was clean and comfortable. The owners have taken great care and you can see they love it. It is located in the heart of Kemp town village. If you want to experience real Brighton stay here!

TRÈS BEL APPARTEMENT !!!!!!!!!!!!

Très belle petite maison, très bien aménagée, très propre et fonctionnelle rien ne manque ,le calme absolu en plein coeur de la ville et à deux pas de la mer.

Très bon accueil également et parfaite communication.

Nous recommandons sans la moindre hésitation !!!

Fantastic property in a great location.

Lovely property in the heart of Kemptown, an easy walk into Brighton centre with lots of lovely shops and cafe's on route. The property itself was clean, bright and really well furnished on a nice quiet street. We will definitely be back next year.

Perfect location, perfect acommodation

This holiday apartment exceeded expectations in terms of quality of facilities, location and overall appeal. It really was a blend of home from home and seaside cool. Would highly recommend for its location, high standard of cleanliness and presentation, a quiet haven to retreat to after a busy day in the town. It even has a private patio at the back for that early evening sundowner,.

Charmantes Appartement in ruhiger u zentraler Lage

Für unseren Familienurlaub in Brighton waren wir auf der Suche nach einer charmanten Unterkunft, die genug Platz für 4 Personen bietet, einigermaßen ruhig liegt, dennoch alles wichtige um die Ecke zu erreichen ist, das Zentrum sollte idealerweise fußläufig zu erreichen sein und natürlich sollte auch der Strand direkt vor der Haustüre liegen. Uns war natürlich klar, dass das wohl kaum zu finden sein würde, aber plötzlich entdeckten wir dieses tolle Appartement und waren sofort begeistert.

Wie sich vor Ort heraus stellte, wurden unsere Erwartungen voll und ganz erfüllt! Das Appartement war „in Echt“ sogar noch reizender als auf den Fotos. Es liegt in einer ruhigen Sackgasse nur ca. 100 m entfernt von allen wichtigen Dingen, die man im Alltag braucht sowie Restaurants, Cafes, Bars etc. Ins Zentrum von Brighton sind es zu Fuß etwa 10-15 Minuten. Super schnell erreicht man vom Appartement nicht nur die Promenade, sondern ist auch direkt am Aufzug (bzw. Treppen), über die man hinunter zum Strand gelangt. Perfekter hätten wir es uns nicht wünschen können!

Ausgestattet ist das Appartement mit allem, was man für den täglichen Bedarf benötigt. Eine kuschelige Decke und ein weiteres Geschirrhandtuck wären möglicherweise noch nette Extras gewesen. Sicherlich hätten die Vermieter uns auf Nachfrage weiter geholfen, denn auch wenn wir die beiden leider nicht persönlich kennengelernt haben, war doch der gesamte Ablauf freundlich, professionell und hat reibungslos funktioniert. Sowohl per Email, als auch telefonisch und per SMS konnten wir immer jemanden erreichen. Bei „Extra-Wünschen“ (wir mussten Ende Mai noch heizen, da es eine wirklich furchtbar kalte Woche war) erhielten wir sofort Unterstützung.

Unser Fazit: Bei unserem nächsten Brighton-Aufenthalt müssen wir keine Unterkunft mehr suchen, wir wissen, was wir gerne buchen möchten. Wir können dieses Appartement daher nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Très jolie maison dans quartier sympa

Nous avons passé une semaine a Brigthon, en famille, dans cette maison qui est un vrai cocon. Meublée et décorée avec goût nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise dans cette maison. Amanda nous avait laissé des infos sur les restos et autres de Brigthon et nous avons beaucoup aimé cette ville avec ses quartiers typiques anglais, et tous ses charmes. Vacances réussies ! 😀👍
