Cottage with heated pool in a 2700 m2 park

An enclosed park of 2700 m2 shelters in peace, a beautiful bourgeois house of 180 m2 from the 1930s completely renovated and labeled Furnished with 4-star tourism / Tourism and Handicap Label (for visual, hearing and mental disabilities + one bedroom with private bathroom) PMR water)

Our cottage welcoming 12 to 14 people is fully equipped, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, pyrolysis oven, fridge / freezer ... as well as all the small equipment necessary for everyday life (iron and table , household products, vacuum cleaner ...).
It has a large living room (open kitchen, dining room and living room), 5 spacious and air-conditioned bedrooms as well as 1 bathroom, 2 shower rooms and 4 toilets

You will also enjoy the park, a private swimming pool heated from early May to early October, treated with salt and covered by a sliding shelter (swimming possible under the shelter), a renovated barn in large covered terrace, d 'a bowling green, a ping pong table, a game of darts ... and you can relax in the heart of our small bamboo plantation.

This Gite is located in the small town of Ychoux, ideally located for exploring the South West and radiating to ocean beaches, coastal lakes (Parentis, Biscarrosse, Sanguinet, Cazaux), the Arcachon Bay, the Pilat dune, the Leyre valley and large natural spaces. Located 5km from the A63 motorway, you can quickly reach Bordeaux (76km) and Bayonne (120km). You will discover the Landes by bike thanks to almost 300 kilometers of dedicated tracks (not to mention the 1,700 kilometers of "cycle tourism routes", on the road).

Fantastic holiday

Wonderful stay in a house with everything we could have wanted. Sandrine and Pascal welcomed us and Pascal even arranged for our car to be looked at as it developed a fault on the journey and then accompanied my husband to the garage. The house was lovely with everything needed for a baby and even a downstairs bedroom with a wet room, shower seat and exterior doors for anyone with mobility problems. The pool was delightful and heated to a perfect temperature. Pool ‘toys’, table tennis, table football, boules etc. The garden even had a ‘fairy glen’ as we called it which consisted of a lit walkway through bamboo into a little clearing which the children loved. The village of Ychoux isn’t very exciting but a short drive away are beaches, both sea and lakeside, the Dune de Pilat, the lovely town of Arachon, waterparks, an excellent zoo, children’s parks, walks etc. We ran out of time to do it all but this gives us a reason to return.

Beautiful house and pool

The house and grounds are beautiful. The pool is a good size and depth to have a good swim and the temperature was lovely. The house has been set up for all ages-there is table tennis, darts, petanque and even some inflatables for the pool-including an inflatable water polo net! The house is well proportioned and the attention to every detail of what holiday makers could possibly need is thought of. The kitchen is 'home from home' and if you wish to cook every appliance is there to do this. The bedroom downstairs is disabled friendly in that it is accessible and has a walk in shower with a seat. Sandrine and Pascal were very welcoming when we arrived and showed us around the house. We would certainly recommend this property. Thank you Sandrine and Pascal :-)

Amazing beautiful property perfect for families with children

This property was truly amazing. It had everything you needed and more. The house was well equipped and perfectly clean. The children loved playing outside with games of boules. Most of all we loved the heated pool which was used every day and with the special roof it did not matter if it was a little cold or raining it didn't stop the family enjoying the pool everyday. There was lots to see and do around the area within an hour drive. We visited the zoo which had some wonderful animals and we even got to feed animals like giraffes up close. In the evenings we ate outside by the pool and enjoyed the use of the barbecue for dinners. This was a brilliant property which made our holiday one to remember.
