We all agreed that 3 1/2 stars would be accurate. It is a Beautiful location. The view was spectacular but home was in need of major updating.
Thank you for your review Trish!
We are so glad to hear that you thought our Lake Michigan location is beautiful--we absolutely agree with you about that! We are, however, very surprised and sorry to hear that some aspects of the Hilltop House were not satisfactory to your group. Unlike any other vacation rentals in the area, our on-site office is staffed 24/7 to address any concerns you may have during your stay with us, and we would very much have appreciated the opportunity to discuss any issues you might have had while you were here. Our goal is to not only meet, but to exceed our guest's expectations! We make every effort to ensure that all of our descriptions and photos of our units are accurate, and that our accommodations are fairly priced. The Jolli-Lodge is a "classic up-north" waterfront resort, and as such our prices tend to be between 40% and 50% lower than other Lake Michigan beachfront properties in the area. We have been in business since 1956, and we believe that part of our charm is our history. That said, we always strive to balance our "vintage vibe" with modern convenience. This year, the Hilltop House was updated with new cookware, dishes, small appliances, mattresses, a large, smart, flatscreen TV and free WIFI in the unit. There are more updates planned for the 2020 season, in hopes that we can continue to provide a classic, comfortable, lakefront experience at reasonable prices. Please check back with us in the future to see what's new! Thanks again!

Wonderful and beautiful location
An excellent stay in the Leland area
Turn Off the World and Relax
The peace and quiet of this lodge allowed me to just shut the world out and enjoy quiet. The first morning found me on the deck just listening to nature and the absence of vehicle noise. Just the lapping of the water of Lake Michigan that was the vista I was looking at while enjoying that first cup of morning coffee. It only got better from there.
Such a beautiful view from deck....
The week-end was gorgeous. The Hilltop was comfortable. Loved the fireplace.
The property was beautiful and had the weather been better we would have taken advantage of the beach.
The listing for the house we stayed in did not have a pic of the “hilltop house” but there was a pic showing the beach which also had a white cottage in the photo so that was confusing as it was not clear from the listing/pics that the white cottage on the beach was not the same house as the “hilltop house” so I thought I booked a cottage right on the beach and that was not the case.
