Flat West Kensington/ Chelsea Border Apartment - Entire Home/ Flat

The apartment is on Bramber Road 5-10 min walk West Brompton tube station where is Chelsea starts and where you'll find lots of fine/famous restaurants, bars. And 10-15 mins walk to Earls Court and Fulham Broadway tube stations. Fulham Broadway has a number of upmarket restaurants, bars and cafes. One in particular, 'The Harwood Arms' ( 4 mins walk), the first and only Michelin Star pub in London. Reasonably priced for such quality.

Beautiful apartment sleeps 4 when using the large sofa bed. Located on the door steps of Fulham Broadway with its vibrant and buzzing atmosphere.

Pick up your fruit & Veg, Fish, Meat, Cheese from its well known street market or main supermarkets 2 mins walk. Famous 'Kings Road' 20 mins walk. Short bus ride to South Kensington, Knightsbridge(Harrods), Piccadilliy, Notting Hill.

Property has high ceilings throughout giving an airy feel. Lovely kitchen including oven, Hob, Fridge, Freezer, Washer dryer.

Bathroom has a shower.

The neighbourhood is quiet and the flat is right by the park!

Its a delightful traditional Victorian English apartment. Its a perfect location for visiting museums and parks. I provide linen bedding and toiletries such as shower gel, shampoo, soap, hair dryer, tea etc

Bedroom is spacious and has double bed with build in wardrobes with good storage.

Sitting room is very spacious and light with huge 2 double windows with beautiful views over the park.

Great Location, Will Use Again 👍

Loved the Apartment, Great location, a few minutes walk to vibrant shopping area of North End Road where there's plenty of places to eat in the evening.

The flat was extremely well presented, clean & tidy with fast wifi which is important for me. Although there were only 2 of us, the flat will comfortably accommodate 4.

We spent most nights eating out, however we did eat in a few times & found the flat is well equipped with all cutlery, crockery etc.

We met Julia, the owner who made us feel welcome & her local knowledge about where to go in the evenings was helpful.

I usually pay significantly more for a small hotel room when I need to be in this part of London but was pleased I tried this service as I won't be paying for overpriced hotel rooms anymore. If you are a budget concious traveler like me looking for good value for money accommodation I can recommend this property.

Nice apartment, super clean and close to public transportation

Julia's apartment is very nice, super clean and well maintained. The location makes it easy to get around London by tube or bus and there are several excellent restaurants in the neighborhood that we found. The apartment was very comfortable, we were glad to have a washer/dryer to do some quick laundry during our stay. The kitchen is well equipped, although we didn't do any cooking, it was nice to have the fridge and coffee maker. The neighborhood is quiet and the apartment overlooks a very pretty park. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this apartment.

Late summer week in London.

We had a wonderful but all too short a stay in Julia's apartment. Our main aim was to visit family & friends plus take in as much new theatre as we could. With all this in mind the apartment is so conveniently located for public transport with Barons Court tube only a very easy 10 minute walk away. On the walk to the station we dicovered the Curtains Up pub which has a great little theatre in the cellar. On our last night we saw a very good production of The Marriage of Figgaro opera, sung by a very talanted young cast.

The apartment was comfortable & very clean with a well equipt kitchen. However the bathroom was very small & cramped and would not be suitable for larger people .The bedroom could do with more lighting and be aware that the flat is under the flight path to Heathrow but you do get used to it.

We were very appreciative of Julia allowing us to get into the apartment early, after a very long flight & an early morning arrival it was great to set the bags down, relax & have a shower.

Great location for a month long stay

Best features - location, space, washer/dryer, owner

Great location for exploring West Brampton, Fulham and the surrounding area. Multiple tube stops close by. Nice park directly across the street with both public and private pools and fitness facilities on offer. Great food shopping available on North End Road heading toward Fulham Broadway. Many great restaurants and pubs in the area, but since we were there for a month and enjoy cooking, we also prepared many meals in the flat.

Lounge (aka living room) is spacious with two nice windows providing good light and a view of the park across the street. Traffic noise is minimal. There is a sofa (pulls out into a bed), two chairs and a small desk as well as a tv. Strongest wifi signal is in this room. We really appreciated the small desk as it provided a great workspace for planning as well as other computer tasks. The sofa and chairs are well worn and could benefit from being replaced. The mattress on the sofa bed has recently been replaced.

Bedroom - decent size room with a bed (seems between double & queen) and decent storage. One window (partially obstructed by the bed) means ventilation is somewhat reduced. When we initially arrived the bed and pillows were well worn and when we pointed this out to the owner Julia, and she arranged for a very comfortable new mattress and brought us some new pillows. Plenty of linens and towels.

Kitchen - well equipped with the majors, cooktop, oven, microwave, small fridge, small freezer, kettle, washer/dryer (for those unfamiliar, this is not the same as having a separate and more efficient dryer, but it beats having only a washer). FYI - there is also a drying rack for hanging up wet clothing. Julia was responsive in providing some items missing from the kitchen inventory which made cooking easier and more pleasant. Plenty of windows in the kitchen provide good light and ventilation.

The bathroom is very small, but provides the essentials with shower, toilet and sink. All are functional but very cozy.

We found the neighborhood and local business owners to be very friendly. In particular the shopkeepers at Family Market on North End Road (heading toward Fulham Broadway) were especially friendly.

Better for two, not three adult travellers.

Clean flat in non touristy neighbourhood. Around 15 minutes to tube. Flat had everything that we needed except comfortable beds. The mattress in the bedroom was very soft and the mattress on the pullout couch in the living room was so thin that the springs were felt through it. Tiny bathroom. There was good communication with the owner although we didn't see her (or anyone else)at any point in our stay, but check-in and check-out was seamless.

Owner's Response: Thank you, I appreciate your review; The reason why no one was able to meet you is that we allowed you to check in early at your request; this actually did inconvenience us as we had to rebook another cleaner for early morning instead of our usual midday; a little consideration towards this would have been welcome. A brand new, firmer mattress has just been delivered (it is the same make/style 'Sleepezzee' as those used in Premier Inn hotels and comes highly recommended for its quality & longevity) and is described as the best mattress for these purposes. There is also brand new 120mm memory foam mattress on the sofa bed and this is the biggest mattress you can get for the sofa bed anything else just unfortunately doesn't fold in - an extra matrass for sofa bed is stored in the bedroom cupboard if needed. I am pleased you enjoyed your time in London.
