Built in 1820, the Convent of the Ormes quickly became a religious school. Some signs still bear witness to this, such as the cross on the East gable or the unfinished wall fresco in the old classroom. After a summer camp, then artist's studio, the Convent is now a unique and peaceful residence, ideal for a few days with family or friends and sharing long sunny meals, walks in the forest or comforting outbreaks.
With a total surface area of approximately 450 m2, the Convent has 14 rooms divided into 3 levels connected by 2 stairwells, with 3 large living rooms on the ground floor and private spaces on the floors. On the ground floor: equipped kitchen (piano gas cooker with electric oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and toaster, refrigerator, dishwasher), dining room with fireplace and table 16 seats, living room with fireplace and 2 sofas. All rooms on the ground floor are equipped with a wireless audio system. On the first floor: a large bedroom and a smaller adjoining room with convertible sofa bed, a large bathroom with walk-in shower and bath, and the library On the second floor: 4 bedrooms with double beds, 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds , 2 bathrooms, 1 with bath and laundry The house is non-smoking except for the kitchen. 3 toilets (1 per level) The garden of 4,000 m2 is composed of two spaces: one in front of the house, is delimited by century-old lime trees, the other behind the house is open on the surrounding countryside. The garden furniture (tables, chairs, armchairs, hammock, outdoor bed) allows to enjoy pleasant outdoor spaces.
