The hamlet is one of the most evocative and inviting areas of Cortina. It is characterised by the timbered houses and the small church of Santa Giuliana. The area is quiet and well connected to the city centre. Good connection to the ski lifts of Faloria and Cristallo: you can reach these ski areas from the chiarlifts of Rio Gere which are just 4,5 km away. The property is located near the curch of Santa Giuliana. It is a typical Ampezzo rural house renovated in the eighties. It has a parking space outside and a beautiful garden in the back home with a nice view on the Pomagagnon. The (ski) bus, which runs every 50 minutes to town, stops 130 m from the house. There are: 2 restaurants within 200 meters, a third one is just 800 m away and 2 paid playgrounds for children about 1 and 2 km away from the house.
Hey, I’m Giovanni! I am 34 years old but I have been told, I don't look it and I feel young for my age. I like music and playing accordion as often as I can, even if at an amateur level but let's say with (some) dignity. I love the blue sky, good weather, music, photography and travelling. I would like to do many other things but there are only 24 hours in a day but one day I hope to get to do all the things I want to do.. Obviously I love the mountains both in the summer and winter but I prefer it during summer when I can climb up the tracks with my Mountain Bike! Hope to host you soon!
Our stay with Giovanni was wonderful. The flat is beautiful and has a gorgeous setting right on the edge of town, backing up to a pasture beneath the Dolomites. It is a quick and easy bus ride into town, the stop is very close to the flat. We walked to town most of the time, it is so beautiful, 20 mins walk. Giovanni was very helpful with everthing we could have needed. He offered to pick us up and drop us off to the bus station on our travel days, which was very thoughtful. Cortina is more beautiful than any pictures can do justice, and Giovanni's flat is the same! Thanks for a great stay! Hope we can visit again.
Our few days in cortina were great thanks to this great flat! It's really charming and cosy, well supplied, good wifi, and Giovanni was really nice and gave us all the information we needed. We highly recommend!
Extraordinarily charming and cosy little vacation apartment. The photos don't do it justice. Very clean and well furnished. The woodwork of the renovation is extraordinary. The host Giovanni is friendly and helpful, the natural setting is impressive, and the location just outside the center of Cortina is convenient. We would definitely return here if we choose Cortina as a vacation destination again.
Giovanni was very friendly and flexible. We ended up being much later than we thought, and he was very accommodating. The Suite was really cute, and very clean. It was perfect for our needs. Giovanni left us hiking maps also, which really helped us with planning our day after getting in late.
Proprietari super gentili e disponibili. Che dire......super vacanza.
