Casal Sikelio is situated in the site of an ancient manor dated from 1800, and it stretches on over 2 hec-tares of farm land, plenty of lemon trees, orange trees, and century old olive trees.
The original architectural complex, belonged to aristocratic families, is composed of an old palm grove dated from 1833. There are stone grinders and presses used for grape crushing and olive crushing. The stables, the barns and the seasonal workers accommodations were situated next to the palm grove.
The owner’s summer residence was built on the first floor in 1868. A second part, built in the early 1900s, was used as a storehouse for the storage and the conservation of all the products resulted from the production and harvest.
Today, part of these establishments, after a long renovation process started in 2008 and still in progress, became the premises of Casal Sikelio, a charming blend between country tradition and modernity.
