Great apartment in a fantastic location!
Diane made our stay fabulous. Her apartment was absolutely beautiful and so spacious. It is located right in the heart of the Marais with all of the best shops, markets, restaurants and Museums within walking distance. I can't wait to return in late November.
Absolutely perfect for 2 couples- complete, clean, comfortable and well located.
You could not do better for two couples or for a family than this apartment, which is exactly as advertised. Two good-sized bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and between them, a very roomy and nicely equipped kitchen, dining and living room, decorated in a quirky arts and crafts style. Access left a lot to be desired - in a building at least a 10 minute walk away from the apartment, with our luggage - and even the directions to get to the apartment from there on google maps were not sufficient without asking directions. Plus, the lock box in which we found the keys was so close to the floor that without the torch on our telephone, we would not have been able to dial the number. Then the door to the that building didn't close and we didn't know if we could leave it that way... However, once all that was behind us, the apartment itself was perfect - large and airy and impeccably clean - and we spent an extremely comfortable week there. It is the first time we have stayed in the Marais and we found that whatever was not walkable, was easily accessible via one of the two metro lines within a 2-5 minute walk. So many excellent restaurants within walking distance, and a most lovely park and garden just across the street, always filled with families in the nice weather. We felt very good staying here and quickly forgot the slightly disagreeable access arrangements. I would highly recommend this place to everyone - if you have luggage, just have your taxi wait for you while you get the key, use your phone torch to open the lock box, and then take the taxi to the door. Or perhaps Diane could find a better access arrangement?
