Need to catch a train to arrive at the city, leave or better still travel around it? This apartment is close to Termini station. It’s a great location for seeing the sights. The apartment is traditional and homely and will give you a real taste of Rome. Need more space? We have other apartments available in the same building.
The convenient Termini Stazione district is named after Termini train station, making getting in out and around the city easy to do.
But it’s got more going for it than just trains! You’ll see pretty churches, local shops and tratorrias with mouth watering food. Sights include Piazza Vittorio Emanuelle's ancient gardens, and the superb Piazza della Repubblica. The Colosseum is in the neighbouring district and of course you’re in the perfect spot for taking public transport!
The two good things I can say about this apartment is it is HUGE for Rome, and about 2 blocks from Termini Sation, which was convenient. Other than that, the neighborhood is not great, and it lacked conveniences such as a microwave oven, toaster and coffee maker (we had to use a stove-top expresso machine). The first time I tried to do laundry, the machine broke down and door wouldn't open. My clothes stayed in for 2 days before it was repaired, giving them a sewer smell. The lady who did repair it was quite rude. It was advertised as having air conditioning which turned out to be one window unit, and it quit on the third day. I must mention that none of this was the fault of the manager Paolo, who was very pleasant and did the best he could to get the owner to respond.
The apartment was comfortable and location was great. When the windows and kitchen doors were closed, it was quiet but did use the fans. It was clean when we arrived and had everything we needed in the kitchen, including enough chairs. Did need the fans, only 2 of the 4 fans worked.
It was more spacious than expected, plenty of room for us, felt like a home away from home. Close to Termini station and we found it easy to walk to many parts of Rome.
Would definitely stay again!
Great location, old apartment, but very gracious and comfortable. We were four people, being a child, and we slept very well. Pablo was punctual and helpful, always available to help us. The internet wifi is excellent with fast connection, and that it was essential for us. The Termini neighborhood is great, full of cafes and shops nearby, and it is very easy to get around the city from there.
Great location, clean & comfortable apartment. If we come back to Rome we would book it again! It was quit hot in Rome & Airconditioning would have been great but Paolo bought another new fan for us.
