|Minimum Stay||3 - 6 nights|
With one of the prettiest roof terraces in Lisbon, this attic apartment’s a real catch. And it’s in a great location, in a calm street of the Bairro Alto. Between cocktails in the sun and dining alfresco, once on the terrace, you’ll find Lisbon literally at your feet. Downstairs you’ll find a nice little café with typical Portuguese pastries.
Students and artists of all types get together in this area to let their hair down at night. The Bairro Alto is the epicentre of the city’s alternative scene.
But it’s not all about nightlife. The day is the perfect time to check out the views from the Mirador de São Pedro de Alcântara or have a glass of port at the Solar do Vinho.
Or head to the Príncipe Real where you’ll found gay-friendly bars, galleries and a park with exotic plants.
This was the 2nd time we were staying in this apartment and we can't wait for the 3rd! It is ideally located in the heart of Lisbon, the apartment is great and the terrace just perfect!
Lovely apartment in a good location. There is a supermarket nearby and also a metro station plus cafés and a park.
Owner was very nice and very helpful.
Simply adorable... Perfect terrace view, romantic surrounding and close to everything you need in Lisbon… Special thanks to Cristina for her advices for our further Portugal’s discoveries… :)
The apartment is very charming, in a great area and we had a wonderful time: the terrasse is gorgeous and the apartment very comfortable!
Cristina, who welcomed us, is very available and really nice, which is definitely to be mentioned.
We hope to be able to come back soon and already recommended the apartment to friends. Not something we did not like but clearly a possible plus: Wifi access would be great!
- Atmosphere of the apartment
- Roof terrace
- Friendly owner
- Good location - We couldn't use the dishwasher, but the owner offered us to do the dishes after check-out :-)
- We couldn't use different kinds of electrical devices at the same time
The roof patio is wonderful, faily private and gets the sun from early morning to sunset. Just wonderful and well worth the climb up the wooden stairs. the local mini market was great too and open daily until 9pm carrying all the goods you need. Excellent roomy fridge and freezer for drinks etc. The pictures we had reviewed bore a good likeliness to reality so there were no surprises. The only down side was that you had to be careful over the use of electrical appliances. We were warned not to use dishwasher but in reality using the oven was enough to trip the main fuse in the flats consumer unit. Easy to reset (you need to wait for a minute or so to reset) but a pain after several ocasions. We eventually found that the grill (which we only used once) didn't trip the fuse. It didn't spoil our holiday; the gas hob and microwave was sufficien for all our needs..
