Your heart will sink as you enter this charming haven of peace and serenity. Located in a beautifully reformed convent, you’ll find your apartment as nice as its surroundings. It’s bright, modern and spacious, great for relaxing. So sit outside in the tranquil shared garden, soak in the views and meditate. Or feel romantic with your loved one.
Students and artists of all types get together in this area to let their hair down at night. The Bairro Alto is the epicentre of the city’s alternative scene.
But it’s not all about nightlife. The day is the perfect time to check out the views from the Mirador de São Pedro de Alcântara or have a glass of port at the Solar do Vinho.
Or head to the Príncipe Real where you’ll found gay-friendly bars, galleries and a park with exotic plants.
The apartment was perfect. Spotlessly clean and equipped with everything needed. Owner very friendly but promised email of restaurant recommendations never materialised. Not a real problem as the apartment was close to all types of bars and restaurants. Couldn't get into apartment on time and had to hang around for an hour outside. May sound petty as owner was very nice when he eventually arrived, but not the best start after traveling :-(
This is a comfortable apt! Tho very noisy at night, it is remedied by closing the windows and using the fan. The noise dies down by 4 a.m. The TV is easy to figure out and the wireless connection is a breeze. You have access to the whole old part of Lisbon by walking! The location is perfect! You will blow a fuse if you use the oven and stove top at the same time-fyi ;)
Very nice location, exceptionnal flat in a lovely building (old convent) !
