What an apartment! So you’re coming to London and you want somewhere comfortable but unique. Well, here you have it. You can even make yourself a coffee in the bright kitchen and enjoy it on the balcony, accompanied by a good helping of sunshine. The other big plus, of course, is the fact that the British Museum is just around the corner.
With the British Museum, British Library and University of London to be discovered on its Victorian streets, Bloomsbury nourishes the mind more than other London districts.
It’s particularly famous for being the home of the Bloomsbury set, a group of turn-of-the-century writers that included Virginia Woolf and EM Forster, as well as economist John Maynard Keynes.
To enjoy the area, try reading a book in one of many garden squares (such as Bedford Square) or admire the Victorian Pancras Station.
Checkin and checkout was very easy. Apartment is very well equipped and located close to all you need. Very comfortable for a family with three younger children to stay in. We really enjoyed the apartment and would very happily stay again next time we visited London.
We recently stayed at the apartment you have listed in Bloomsbury which is about the only thing accurate about the whole description. I don't like giving negative feedback to an owner/manager.
The area of Bloomsbury has many bars, coffee shops and restaurants which are a short walk away as is the British Museum and Covent Garden.
The pictures of the apartment show a clean and modern apartment the experience though was of a poorly cleaned, worn out furnishings ( broken mirror in hall, tumble dryer not working, kettle leaking and kitchen cupboards full of what can only described as previous guests discarded items).
We booked this as we have an Profoundly Autistic Adult son and wanted to have somewhere that reflected our own tastes, the experience though was poor and we used the apartment less than we would have a used a hotel room.
I have no issues with WaytoStay as they have been first class in resolving the matter.
The apartment is correctly located in the Brunswick Centre but beyond that does not resemble the pictures being offered up or the condition of the apartment as a whole. It is both very poorly cleaned and in need of extensive refurbishment for to bring it up to the pictures that are being offered up.
Our recent visit was disappointing as we had taken our profoundly autistic adult son to a place that he would associate with his own home and apartment we own in Portugal and took time so as to ensure that the apartments look was what he would feel comfortable and safe in as it reflected our own.
We were very disappointed!!!
Kieran was an excellent host, accommodating our early arrival with very short notice. The apartment lived up to expectations; quiet, very convenient location near Russell Square Tube Station & above a shopping centre including supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants etc.
The apartment needs refurbishing. many scratches on the floor, mould next to the windows, leather couch damaged, small beds (1.40 wide) Brunswick centre apartments seem to have seen better days. Overall impression: a bit shabby.
This location is excellent ,within walking distance of Kings Cross Euston and St Pancreas. The flat is located in a "listed "concrete block that has excellent shopping, coffee shops, waitrose , eateries and bistros. Near to a park and
Russell Sq underground on the Picadilly line takes you to Kensington in 10 mins,
Easy walking to Shaftsbury Avenue and theatre land and most of Londons attractions.
A sixties vibe light and airy flat with very good library .
