Truffle Cottage is a small but really characterful cottage set just a short distance to the north of Chichester city centre. It is one of the oldest houses in the area and is so called as it used to be the home of a truffler who "hunted" truffles in the old woods at nearby Goodwood. It is a ideal for a couple or for friends to share as a base to explore Chichester and the local region.
The cottage has a cosy sitting room with TV/DVD. This is semi-open to the dining room, with a dining table that can easily seat up to 4 people. There is a galley style kitchen which offers an oven and hob, microwave, fridge and all the cooking equipment needed to be able to comfortably self-cater. There is also a further fridge and a freezer in the garage to the cottage, along with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Also on the ground floor is a bedroom with a 4ft bed. The stylish shower room to the cottage is a little touch of modern luxury in this historic property.
A wooden staircase leads to the bedroom and dressing area on the first floor. This offers a large double bed (Please note, the staircase to the first floor is fairly steep with narrow steps, so may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues).
Outside, the cottage has a small front garden, as well as a decked area at the back of the cottage, which makes a peaceful spot to quietly sit and have a evening drink on a summer's day. There is a gravelled driveway that provides off road parking for guests.
