Casa Redonda is located just a few minutes' drive from the beach, on the outskirts of the historic town of Lagos, and a few minutes drive from Luz village. Set in quiet and peaceful surrounding, the villa has easy access to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting, beautiful sandy beaches, awarded golf courses and many excellent restaurants/bars for eating out.

This contemporary style villa has been very well-furnished and is light and airy. On 2 floors, with steps up from the entrance area leading to South facing FAMILY ROOM with comfortable seating, log burning fireplace, pool table, flat screen TV w/ DVD player and Stereo system. Adjacent dining area with large table and chairs.

Fully furnished and well equipped KITCHEN with breakfast bar, ideal for a self-catering holiday , American fridge/freezer, wine cooler and dishwasher. Sliding doors from both Living room and Kitchen open onto a large veranda with dining table with chairs and gas BBQ. Beautiful 180º views from Lagos to Luz and over Boavista Golf Resort.

Steps down lead to pool area with a fully private sunbathing terrace.

Several sun loungers, parassols and outdoor furniture for your leisure.

The pool has a polygonal shape approx 6x4m and can be heated upon request and extra payment.

All 3 bedrooms are downstairs and all have flat screen Sat TV.

BED 1 master bedroom with a double bed and en-suite full BATHROOM. Direct access to pool terrace.

BED 2 and BED 3 have two single beds (that can be also made into one) and fitted wardrobes.

Separate SHOWER ROOM with walk-in shower.

The villa has Air Conditioning with reverse heating system and additional underfloor heating throughout ideal for Winter lets.

Several sliding doors lead from the villa out to the pretty garden and pool areas. Patio furniture under the covered terrace provides the perfect place for al fresco dining on warm holiday evenings. A sun terrace surrounds the inviting heated swimming pool*. This is accessed by steps and has a pool-side shower.

This property is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The Algarve region

Lagos is a fantastic town in the western Algarve that can certainly be enjoyed by all age groups. It is full of historical interest with it's origins dating as far back as 2000 years BC when it was known as Lacobriga. Lagos has always had a seafaring connection, originally visited by Phoenicians and Carthaginians and then, during the 15th century, was the base for the 'voyages of the Discoveries' instigated by Henry the Navigator when trade between Africa and Portugal brought a great deal of wealth into the town.

Lagos is certainly full of history, but it is also a vibrant town with lots going on - the next square along, in the middle of town, is Praça de Gil Eanes and this is often the setting for evening entertainment throughout the year - a comical unicyclist, live music or a medieval fair are just some of the events we have enjoyed. If Portugal are playing football, or there is a major competition on, the cafes will have the big screens up in the square and everyone joins in the excitement (very good naturedly as well).


The villa is situated on Funchal Ridge with panoramic views of Lagos and Praia da Luz bay and only a few minutes’ drive away from both. However it offers the unique advantage of remaining secluded in a tranquil & peaceful location.

Lagos has lots to offer. Whether you want a town steeped in history and culture or a town teeming with restaurants, shops & night-life, Lagos has always something for you.

Praia da Luz has a beautiful sandy beach and some excellent restaurants situated on the promenade giving stunning sea views. For those wanting to play golf, there are several championship golf courses nearby including Boavista Golf Club & Spa, Parque de Floresta & Palmares Golf Club.

For the more adventurous there are many water sports widely available including water skiing, surfing & wake boarding, or you could go trekking, horse riding or micro-light flying.

There is a motorway linking Faro to Lagos so the drive to/from the airport takes just under one hour.

beautiful house in a beautiful part of the world

lovely, very high quality house, set high on the hill overlooking both Lagos and Luz. House has 3 genuine large doubles and a brilliant walk in rainfall style shower, in addition to a nicely appointed en suite. Top floor with great views, inside and outside dining, great pool table and a good sized and well equipped dining kitchen. Add in a great BBQ, full length glass panelled balcony overlooking the pool and sun deck, amazing!

Lagos is a beautiful town, lively and cosmopolitan, good value with diverse cuisines and just 5 minutes drive away, brilliant. If you like watersports, scuba available in Lagos, Luz has lots of options too. kayaks, jetski, paddleboards, all reasonably priced too. This was our first trip to the Algarve, will be back for sure!
