Beach front house. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathroom, living/dining room, Sun Room, Garden

This is a truly delightful house and will not disappoint!

Ground floor, garden villa with three bedrooms (one with french doors onto private courtyard), large living/dining room, luxury kitchen,sun room with french doors to private garden. Delightful greeenhouse garden room to relax in.

The master bedroom has king and single bed with en suite shower room. The double bedroom again has two beds which can be joined into a super king bed (made up as two singles unless request the super king), and the third bedroom has a single bed with a hideaway bed underneath. This delightful room has french doors opening onto a private courtyard.

The garden has a gate which leads to the promenade,cycle path, beach and rock pools. Any child's paradise! All that is required is the weather! Troon really has its own little micro climate as it benefits from the warm gulf stream and often avoids the rain as it is situated in Arran's rain shadow. Many are amazed to find Troon dry and sunny whilst the rain is pouring down less than half a mile away!

You will love watching the kite surfers flying past and the amazing sunsets.

About June Morton

I was born and brought up in Darvel in the Irvine Valley and travelled to school in Ayr. I left Ayrshire to go to Edinburgh Uni in 1971. After uni I remained in Edinburgh to work and bring up our three children with my husband John. Although we had a wonderful life in Edinburgh I always had a longing to return to Ayrshire where I grew up. Once our children left school we did just that and are presently enjoying retired life in a lovely property on the beachfront not far from this property at 88 South Beach. If that is not a recommendation to try this property then nothing is!

My parents retired to the double upper of this property in 1980, Westview. They lived in Darvel before that. When they both passed away we purchased Westview with a view to retiring to it one day.

Since April 2014, Westview has been our other holiday let property in South Beach and I am delighted to say that our guests have been extremely positive about their visits there. So much so that I have decided to offer the same facility for this property. It is smaller but actually could accommodate 9 people with the use of the bed settee in the living room! I now have the availability of renting the entire property as one with a possible accommodation for 18 persons. I would however have to consider this carefully and would not accept groups of youngsters looking for party accommodation.

During a September holiday my husband and our three children were staying in our parent's home Westview on the beachfront. We enjoyed our trips immensely, especially the children who thoroughly relished their freedom to play in the dunes, swimming in the sea, fishing in the rock pools,playing on the beach, cycling on the promenade, golfing and tennis! I am happy to offer this property for holiday lets so that others can have the opportunity to enjoy this lovely location.

Stunning views overlooking the sea, Ailsa Craig, Lady Isle and Arran.

Bright, sunny and quite spacious accommodation.

Lovely sunroom/bedroom with French Windows opening onto the garden and patio. Ideal for parents/grandparents to chill whilst watching the children play safely in the garden or the green outside the garden gate. Very easy walk to the town along the promenade.

In addition there is a double sofa bed in the living room which could be used for extra guests and 2 single beds in the sunroom/bedroom (one is a roll-away bed). There may be an additional fee for extra linen etc for numbers over 6.

The family room can take 3, the twin room (or super king bed) 2, the small bedroom with French Doors is set for 1 but can be made up with two singles or as a double bed, and the living room has a sofa bed suitable for another 2 guests. Wonderful home and host!

Stayed here with 3 friends for a golf trip. We were able to walk to Royal Troon from the home. Excellent accommodations with basically everything you need for a very comfortable stay. June and her husband John could not have been more hospitable. Truly lovely people and enjoyed sharing a dram with them. Communication throughout the entire rental process was excellent. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to friends and family.

Fantastic Garden Villa!

This 3 bedroom garden villa was absolutely delightful. We arrived to milk & champagne in the fridge, and chocolates & morning rolls on the counter. The place was clean, light, & bright, with super cute garden patios off the back doors, and access to the main garden - which was just SO lovely. The seaside walking path was easily reached for taking a lovely walk, or a stroll along the beach.

June was the quintessential hostess, providing us with every comfort and always close at hand for questions or needs to be met. We felt pampered and so very comfortable during or stay - Troon is a lovely town and close enough to many local attractions, Glasgow & Edinburgh are easily accessed by train if you don't want to drive.

I have nothing but praise for our stay here, we couldn't have been more comfortable if we'd stayed in a 4-star hotel. We absolutely loved staying here and it will be our first choice to stay in when we return. Many, many thanks to June for her unparalleled attention to customer service, and all her thoughtful kindness's to my family during our stay.

Super "Wee Hoose", great location and very helpul owner

We spent 3 nights at the "Wee Hoose" on our way to the Highlands. The house is in a premium location on South Beach, with superb views and with a garden (with rear gate) backing right on to the beach area. The house itself was just right for our needs. Three good sized bedrooms on the ground floor with reception rooms having views to Ailsa Craig and Arran. The house was spotless and very well equipped, including toiletries and we very much appreciated June's welcoming gifts.

All in all it was a very relaxing stay. June went out of her way to be helpful, including lending our teenage boys some bikes so they had extended Pokemon hunting range! We understand that the Wee Hoose is being sold, but that June has another property on South Beach. If we came back to Troon we would certainly look to book with June if we could.

Perfect golf Holiday

We were a groupe of 6 golf friends staying at June and John's Holiday home middle from june 11th to 19th.

We were very well welcomed and stayed in this perfectly well situated house along the south beach road of Troon.

Close to town and just a few steps from the beach, this Holiday home was perfect.

Golfs all around the area are fantastic including the 3 public courses just 500meters from the house.

June and John were fantastic hosts giving us all the information we needed during our stay.

We will for sure be back if coming in this area.

I have never known a group of golfers who have used every available minute of their holiday on the course. Whatever the weather. But of course I know it never rains on the golf course. No wonder my husband enjoyed your company!! As you know this particular property on the beach front has been sold and sadly will no longer be available after mid September. If you are interested our other property Westview is also on the beach front and would also suit your party (and even your partners/wives ) if you would like to bring them! Lovely weekend

Made to feel very welcome and felt very much at home at 60 South Beach.

We were very lucky with the weather too and managed to have walks along the beach.

Welcome pack for guests in the kitchen very much appreciated and saves you worrying about tea/coffee, milk etc. when you arrive. The Prosecco too was greatly enjoyed by the girls.

A delightful house in a magnificent setting

Impeccably presented and customer service is exemplary, being personally welcomed by the owner, and the welcome hamper was delightful. What a location - watching the sunrise in the morning overlooking the sea to the Isle of Arran from the lounge window! Our mad Irish Red Setter loved the ability to run on the beach once we opened the gate at the bottom of the garden. We will be back.
