PRIVATE STRUCTURE (RENTAL ONLY). Refined mansion completely restored, San Lorenzo is the ideal location for an unforgettable stay. On top of a small hill silhouetted against the blue sky and your eyes are immediately impressed by the exterior walls clad in a warm orange color and rich park that if one part is crossed by oaks and firs, on the opposite side opens in a grassy clearing that surrounds the sun-drenched rooftop pool. The interior is especially appreciate the use of furniture fascinating but essential enhancing greater amplitude of the rooms, make them livable at best and they create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Stands the charming lounge with plush sofas scattered around the stone fireplace, with three facades consist of windows that reveal stunning views of passing from geometrical figures of cultivated land in the green wooded hills. You will have the wonderful opportunity to explore two regions, Umbria and Tuscany, known not only for its artistic heritage of the likes of Arezzo, Perugia and Assisi, for the natural scenery dotted with churches and fortresses, but also for working handicraft, leather and iron, for example, and for valuable products such as olive oil, wine, truffles and cheeses.


The villa is on two floors connected internally. The main entrance opens on the ground floor in an open-plan format from the kitchen and living room with dining area. To the right of the living room you two double bedrooms, one with a single bed, and two bathrooms with shower; on the left, however, a door leads into a large dining room with sofas, fireplace, panoramic windows and patio doors provide access to the barbecue area is that the swimming pool. From the living room, a marble staircase leads to the first floor which consists of a double bedroom with additional single bed and a second bedroom, both served by a bathroom with bath tub.

Part of a fully fenced property of 3,000 square meters, the garden extends to 700 square meters, following the shape of the hilly terrain. And 'largely characterized by a soft lawn with cherry, apricot, olive trees and flower beds where they grow lush rose bushes, oleanders, cactuses from the particular colorful flowers, cactus, lavender and rosemary. Practicality is the strength of the external spaces, not only has two gravel parking areas, one adjacent to the pool and the other in front of the main entrance, but a few meters from the house, under a small structure with a roof , you will find the built-in barbecue and sink, ideal for outdoor cooking.

the swimming pool

The pool is 25 meters from the house, is placed at a lower level compared to it and can be reached via a short flight of steps or, more likely, through part of the garden. The tank, the original crescent shape, measuring 9 x 5 m (7 m in maximum diameter) with a depth of 1.40 m. The treatment plant is chlorine, PVC coating, there are lights inside and the entrance is facilitated by Roman steps. In addition, thanks to the solar panels, guests can enjoy the heated pool in the total respect of the environment. The solarium area, partly paved with stone and partly with lawn, follows the curved shape of the pool and its rounded side, facing the landscape, are arranged sun-beds, a living area with sofa and chairs and a romantic swing . In a corner of the sunbathing area is the outdoor shower is hot or cold.

Una vacanza tranquilla e rilassante

Abbiamo soggiornato a San Lorenzo nel periodo di Luglio e ci siamo trovati davvero bene! Abbiamo apprezzato la quiete e la bellezza di poter fare colazione, pranzare e cenare in allegria godendo del bellissimo panorama dalla parte della casa con le grandi vetrate.

La piscina era ben pulita e dalle dimensioni consone per rilassanti nuotate.

I proprietari si sono dimostrati sempre disponibili e discreti ad ogni nostra richiesta e al nostro arrivo, ci hanno fatto trovare un piccolo cesto di Benvenuto con prodotti locali e del buon vino.

Per fare la spesa bisogna usare la macchina ma a pochi minuti di strada si raggiungono facilmente sia supermercati (noi andavamo ad Umbertide 10 min circa) che negozi o ristoranti.

La proprietà è interamente recintata e questo ci ha permesso di essere maggiormente tranquilli per una vacanza con il nostro cane.

Halfway between Ram, a small medieval town perfectly preserved and unchanged for centuries, and Umbertide, an ancient town of the ninth century, San Lorenzo is located in the Upper Tiber Valley in Umbria, a region from the natural environment intact and that, among the many villages, castles and abbeys, hides unique architectural beauty. Cities such as Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Foligno, Spello and Città di Castello can be reached in less than an hour relying on fast roads such as the E45 (exit Montone is only 5 minutes), but also the banks Lake Trasimeno is surrounded by an area which combines history, culture and good food and that is crisscrossed by trails where hiking, mountain biking or horseback riding. A large part of Tuscany is easily within the reach of the traveler who will visit major tourist sites including Cortona, Arezzo and Chiusi della Verna famous for its spectacular Franciscan sanctuary built on a rocky ridge. Ram, a few miles away, has all the shops and services to meet needs and requirements of the guests.
