Located in the heart of the Natural Park of the Quercy, close to remarkable sites of Rocamadour, Pech-Merle caves or Dordogne, this stone house with high quality services is nestled in a property with no neighbors and no nuisance.

You get a unique and unspoiled setting, panoramic views of the Causse, a large landscaped garden and a large swimming pool (12 * 6) shared with the owners. Your house is totally independent (entrance, parking ...) and has no real vis-a-vis with the owners 50 meters.

The house has been renovated with old materials Causse (tiles of the church of Padirac, Causse stones ...) and ecological (cellulose wadding, paintings 'home-made' natural ...). Finally, it is equipped with authentic furniture and objects of the twentieth century design.

The house includes a living room - dining room open to the kitchen of 36 m2. The decor: furniture design from the 40s to 60, Italian contemporary lighting, large slabs of natural stone of Causse, common recovery beam of a nearby castle, whitewashed walls. And of course flat screen TV, stereo, DVD Rom drive. The kitchen is fully equipped: fan oven, dishwasher, Nespresso machine ... The steel canopy overlooks the pool 20 meters.

A room of 15 m2 ground floor with exposed beams and whitewashed walls, ambiance "classic" Louis XV, solid oak flooring. Superb bedding (160x200), very large wardrobe (3 m long) with doors crude solid oak.

The ensuite bathroom in a neo-retro style (painted cement tiles, sink and faucet English) opens onto a large walk-in shower XL (2m * 1m).

Upstairs, a first chamber (29m2) loft (metal furniture mixture and wood in the rough, Chesterfield sofa) for this room which has a triple exposure. Superb bedding 160x200. The second bedroom (23m2) is in a spirit of "vintage" Scandinavian in warm tones. It has 2 beds of 90 (that can turn into bed 180).

Different formulas are proposed stays: weekly (with or without option: linen, sheets, end of stay cleaning) or at night outside July and August (130 to 180 € per night based on the number of persons and period : contact us).

Nearby you will find many leisure activities (hiking, horseback riding, tennis, mountain biking, tree-climbing, canoeing / rafting, aerotourism).

The property, isolated, lies at the heart of a network of hiking trails for exploring the natural riches of the Regional Park of the Quercy (many endemic species such as wild orchids or lizards ocelets ...).

Finally, it is located in the heart of the black triangle (place in France where there is less light pollution of the city and hence the most beautiful starry skies can be observed).

Amazing much need break

The place is beautiful and clean. The peace and quiet of the location meant there were no compromises to our holiday.

The pool is the perfect size for a family of five and we would recommend the all day kayaking.

Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

The Gite was compact but had everything we needed. We didn't spend too much in the Gite but did enjoy the lovely garden and fabulous pool. The owner was really nice - helpful, and lived nearby but wasn't around too much. We explored loads of places and enjoyed a cycle/canoe combination one day. Would recommend - accommodation a high standard. Very clean.

Holidays with 3 children and a dog called "Socks"

Dear Frederic,

we had a very lovely stay at your holiday house.

The house, the (very big) pool and the roundabouts were amazing.

We love the silence and this place war perfect. Our dog loved that place too. She could run around without being leashed, although she doesn´t likes any foreigners, please don´t mind about that :)

Also the owners (you an your friend) are very friendly and reliable.

Thank you and I hope we´ll see you soon again.

Schöner Urlaub, Erholung garantiert!

Wir haben zu Zweit 8 Tage in dem Haus verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Vermieter Frédéric hat uns sehr nett empfangen und uns noch einige Tipps zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants geben können.

Das Haus war sauber und die Küche hatte alles zu bieten, was man so braucht (Kühlschrank mit Eisfach, Herd, Backofen, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, Nespresso-Maschine...) um sich gut selbst versorgen zu können.

Da wir zu Zweit waren, haben wir das obere Stockwerk, in dem sich zwei weitere Schlafzimmer befinden, zwar nicht genutzt, aber das Haus eignet sich auch super für Urlaube mit weiteren Personen (bis 6).

Besonders gut gefallen hat uns der große Pool mit kleinem Sprungbrett (tiefste Stelle ist 2,50m), den wir komplett für uns alleine hatten.

Das Haus liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Lage, es gibt (bis auf das Haus des Vermieters, dass ca. 50m entfernt auf dem Grundstück steht) keine direkten Nachbarn. Da die Vermieter unter der Woche tagsüber nicht zuhause waren, war man quasi ganz alleine.

In der Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche kleine idyllische Dörfer, die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit befindet sich in Gramat (ca. 10-15km entfernt), dort gibt es auch zahlreiche Restaurants, die südfranzösische Köstlichkeiten anbieten.

Besonders zu empfehlen ist auch das Restaurant "Les 2 Pattes" in Le Bastit (nur wenige Autominuten entfernt).

Insgesamt haben wir die Zeit sehr genossen, uns super erholt und kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank Frédéric!

We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in dit huisje! Het is een heerlijk rustige omgeving en de huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien. Als je een kleintje bij je hebt is het fijn dat er een bede en een stoel is. De bewoners zijn super vriendelijk en behulpzaam maar je ziet ze weinig.

Superbe maison,à recommander pour un séjour dans le Lot
