40 minutes from MALAGA International Airport, 15 minutes from Nerja, 1 hour from GRENADA, ALMUNECAR is a charming little town by the sea, with many beaches.
The apartment is located in the most sought after area D'ALMUNECAR, historical and pedestrian area of the old town (white city on a hillside, backed by the castle)
It is a true Andalusian village, with its shady streets, squares lined with orange trees or palm trees, and especially its inhabitants always friendly and ready to help.
HERE WE LEAVE THE CAR, AND WE DO EVERYWHERE ON FOOT!
First the beach, maintained every day, right in front of our apartment. Idyllic setting with its palm trees, its many tapas bars and cocktails ...
Then the races:
- Old town market, open every day, excellent fish, cheese and local cold cuts, fruits and vegetables ...
- 3 supermarkets at - 300 meters.
-Numerous other shops at the foot of the house (clothes, wine shops, bakery, ice cream ...)
Finally the outputs:
The cost of living here is divided by 2 / France.
Most of the many restaurants are excellent (we will give you our addresses), we eat on the terrace all year round.
A super nice place with several Spanish bars, just behind the house.
For children, large water park 300 meters.
For athletes, here everyone walks or runs on the "paseo" on the seafront.
For culture, flamenco of course but also a house of culture with exhibitions, theater, a cinema, and a festival of music often outdoors.
And if you want to move, possibility small hikes in a natural park by the sea 10 minutes by car (wild beaches, beautiful, lunch feet in the water ...) or hike in the hinterland more mountainous ( will show you our best spots, with 5-star pool ...)
The region of Alpujaras, is worth the discovery (hikes through the villages) and of course Granada and ALHAMBRA (unavoidable).

It is very pleasant to live, because located on high floor and at the edge of the water, a refreshing sea breeze offers a continuous and natural air conditioning .We can therefore move from the shady interior, sunny terraces, keeping the berries open windows.
- However, the room overlooking the street is equipped with artificial air conditioning because the nights in Andalusia can be hot!

- The living room is a superb room of over 50m2, arranged around a coffee table with 2 leather sofas, a large dining table, a piano, a fireplace (fires prohibited for security reasons)
