Fabulous, spacious 70 sqm apartment with hyper-equipped kitchen in the heart of Prague, walking distance to all sights while just away from tourist traps. In the most bohemian and lively area. On the border of Wenceslas Sq. and Vinohrady with beautiful buildings, parks and restaurants.

The Space

Apartment is build in 2010 in the attic of the residential building from early 20th century. It is about 70 sqm and is completely refurnished (June 2014). It can easily accommodate 4 people.

It is modern and fully equipped with everything you need for either short or long stay for pleasure or business.

The apartment consists of one bedroom with comfortable Super King size bed (200x180) and quality mattress, second room serves as living room and dining room. Kitchen is divided by column, there is small entry hall with big wardrobe and bathroom. It is ideal for couples, but can easily accommodate 4 people.

It is on the 5th and last floor of an old well kept building but 'WITH NEW ELEVATOR'. It is very sunny and bright, peaceful and absolutely quiet as it faces the rear of the building with backyard.

There is south oriented balcony-terrace (10m2) where you can enjoy sun rays during romantic breakfast or dinner. Also ideal for relaxing after a long day of visiting and walking around town. Terrace is equipped with electric controlled sun awning.

Living room has a dining table for four and comfortable pull out sofa bed where additional two can sleep. There is smart TV with internet access and NETFLIX subscription, Sony micro-system into which you can connect your iPhone, MP3 player or USB.

WIFI internet is free, secured and for your use only.

The kitchen is FULLY equipped with highest line Siemens and AEG appliances - refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, gas stove with five Hobbs, multifunction oven, toaster and built in espresso maker for coffee lovers like me. There is also toaster, kettle, microwave and even food dispenser, full set of utensils, glasses, knifes, pots, pans and rags. Coffee, tea, salt, pepper, sugar, dishwasher tablets and more are provided. Feel free to help yourself with what´s available. Some items may vary from time to time. If you replenish what you consume, it is appreciated but if you don´t it is fine.

The bathroom is combined with toilet and also has washing machine. There is large tub with hand shower and will fit 2 medium adults for romantic bath together. Hair dryer, soap, shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste, towels, toilet paper, detergents - will all be ready for you.

There is also small iron and ironing board if needed.

The floor in the living room is hardwood from tropical IPE wood and in the bedroom is lighter Tauari wood. There are tiles in the hall and bathroom.

Apartment has independent central heating system with thermostat controlled temperature for cold month.

The Neighbourhood

I consider Vinohrady to be the best area to stay and live in Prague. It is heaven for lovers of Art Nouveau architecture and neighbourhood restaurants. The name Vinohrady refers to the vineyards that thrived here in the fourteenth century.

Apartment is just behind the National Museum on Wenceslas Square and steps from Riegrovy sady (park with amazing views on Prague castle and summer outdoor pubs).

This is the most popular central Prague residential area with lots of cafes, restaurants, clubs, shops but also parks while just step away from the tourist crowds and traps.

All the main tourist attractions (Charles Bridge, National Theatre, Wenceslas Square, Old Town Square, Prague Castle, Lesser Town Square etc.) are in a walking distance.

Getting around

Main train station (Hlavní nádraží) is less than 15 minutes walk from the apartment and airport is less than 1 hour by public transport (30 mins by taxi).

Walking to Wenceslas square takes about 4 minutes then 15 minutes to Oldtown square and Charles bridge is another 10 minutes away.

However, if you decide to use public transport then

closest tram stop is just 100 metres from your door steps and most important transfer metro station 'Muzeum' (line A and C) is just 400 metres from the apartment. Line A will take only 3 stops to Malostranska (4 minutes) to reach the bottom of the Prague castle.

Other Things to Note

If you are coming by car, there is parking garage within 3 mins from the apartment (approx. 7 EUR/day). Mr.Parkit at Španělská - reserve in advance to secure you parking spot.

Perfect modern apartment

We have stayed in about 20 rentals all over the US and Europe and we agree this is our favorite. Great location- lots of restaurants within 2-3 blocks and 10 min or so walk to the main train station in Prague. You can also easily walk 1/2 mile to Wensceles Square and shop, eat and sight see. Main things we loved: easy to use espresso machine, awesome balcony, quiet bedroom (never heard traffic) and a modern (american) bathroom (hand held shower but easy to navigate). They had great wifi and Netflix too. Lastly the best part? Rob and Pavel the owners! Answered any questions we had and right away: restaurants, getting around etc. Even a big guide they wrote on what to do and see and what to avoid. Love it! Highly recommend this apt (also a nice elevator since its on the 5th floor). Thanks for a great stay in Prague!!

Comfort and convenience

Pavel and Rob communicated with us from start to finish. They provided a helpful guide to Prague with dos and donts, and the bed...the bed was so comfortable!! The apartment was very stylish and cozy, and had free Netflix and WiFi. I definitely recommend this place!

Excellent, reliable, perfect hosts

Robert and Pavel are excellent hosts. They will treat you very well, from the point of booking to departure. We appreciated their advice on what to do in Prague to lining up their driver Lukas for us. Any inquiry was immediately responded to - you will be very pleased with their hospitality, as we were. The apartment is beaurifully decorated and well planned and prepared for a vacation rental. We thoroughly appreciated our stay over Christmas with our eight year old son. BY FAR was the best. Stayed in several VBRO rentals.

Excellent location. Excellent communication with owners. Everything went like clockwork. The handbook in the apartment was filled with good local tips from museums to dining. Where to go and what to avoid. The apt was exceptionally clean and modern. On the fifth floor but the elevator was modern and it wasn't a problem. Neighborhood would be hard to beat. About three blocks from the Narodni museum. Restaurants less than a block, in fact a great Indian restaurant across the street. Four blocks from a food market. We dined in several times and the kitchen was well equipped. In fact they had a cappuccino machine that was over and above the normal. Great bathroom with a bath tub that was great for soaking after a long day of sightseeing.

Well equipped, and first class appointments.

Would not hesitate to come back and stay a month at this location!

Fantastic apartment! Better than the great Pix.

Excellent apartment, helpful owners, and a great location. Only blocks from two big Metro stops, and easy access to Trams.

Great restaurants so close that you don't need to go downtown to eat.

The owners had the nice touch of including a Netflix acct., which is a nice retreat for English speakers. Lots of channels for everyone. Not that you go to Prague to watch TV, but when you get back from a long day of tourism, taking a load off with some TV in your language is nice.

Other EU owners should consider this.

You will not be disappointed.
