Houma Downtown Guest House - Suite 1
About Carroll Parr
I am married with 2 grown children and 3 grown step-children and several grandchildren. My wife is Donna. I am from Houma originally and have lived here my entire life. I graduated from Terrebonne High School in 1967 and Nicholls State University in 1972. We have been involved with the vacation rental industry before and are excited to be getting back in. We previously had a camp which we rented out and also were partners in Houma Port House.
Carroll Parr purchased this Guest House in 2013
Why Carroll Parr chose Houma
We purchased this property about 6 years ago for use as our real estate office. It previously belonged to an attorney who is now retired. He actually connected 2 houses in the middle to form one large building. We use the center 1/3 as our office and you will be in the rear 1/3 which used to be a stand-alone house.
What makes this Guest House unique
We are right on the edge of downtown Houma within walking distance to festivals, parades, restaurants, and the Houma Courthouse, and we park at the office and walk to these festivities ourselves. We thought out of town guests would like to have a place this close to downtown also to be able to walk there, so we are now converting the rear section as a vacation rental and will very soon do the same to the front of the building.
