Only the unit above us has a better view of the gulf and you have to climb another flight of stairs to get there. Hence Summerspell 201 is the "ULTIMATE" Summerspell Condo. However, if we are booked, Summerspell is almost unique on Scenic Gulf drive for view and value, So please check all our units!!
If a panoramic view of the gulf is important to you, then the "ULTIMATE" is worth the little extra it may cost you. Please check our video although we have redecorated some since the video was taken.

We have is a policy of 6 nights minimum, and don't permit Friday and Saturday night weekend rentals, except for extended stays.
Our Summerspell 201 condo is a 1 bedroom and 1 bath unit that has an occupancy limit of 4 adults and 2 children..We have a queen-size sofa sleeper and extra large built-in hallway bunk beds We also have a very comfortable KING size bed in our master bed-room. The kitchen is beautifully appointed and fully equipped.. Our great room (kitchen and living room) is tiled, as is the entire condo except for the carpeted bedroom. The great room has French doors that open to a back-balcony that has a private view of the of the Gulf
Imagine lying in your bed at night, listening to the waves pounding on the beach. Or sitting at the table on the back-balcony eating your freshly caught and self-prepared sea food.
Summerspell is a beautiful low-rise complex with lush shrubs, flowers and palm trees and is located directly across Scenic Gulf drive from the Gulf of Mexico, It has a heated pool, outdoor Jacuzzi, and separate BBQ grilling area. Also, there are coin operated laundry rooms on the ground floor.. Summerspell with all of its amenities, and being only steps from the beach, is an excellent choice for small families and couples that want a gulf-front view without paying beach front prices;, nor the distractions and hub-bub of high-rise living in Down town Destin.
The area is known for its great restaurants, golf courses, and World-Class fishing; along with its excellent shopping and family attractions.

My family has been staying at Summerspell 201 for probably around 8 years now. We love it every single time! Summerspell 201 is a great fit for our family. You have the best view of the beach and the pool from the balcony. There are plenty of restaurants and activities nearby. Ed is very friendly and communicates well. I would definitely recommend this condo for families with children of all ages. I'm sure we will continue staying here for years to come!

Owner is EXCELLENT to work with EVERY time. Condo is best LOCATION & PRICE in Destin area! PERFECT view from EVERY window. Covered balcony is PERFECT to eat out on or watch dolphins in the morning & evening. Heated pool & hot tub are private. Outdoor shower to rinse feet or kids is very handy. Laundry room available on first floor is really convenient. Access to beach is BETTER than most 'beachfront' condo's...TRUST ME ON THIS! Also, King bed is AWESOME! Bunks in hallway are adult sized & sturdy. You feel like you are a local since it's not a high rise. Easy access to walking/biking path right outside. Walking distance to coffee shop, Pompano Joe's, surf shop and really convenient to Publix, Winn-Dixie, Fresh Market and Wal-Mart. My brother actually owns homes in Destin, but I prefer to stay here instead, because the owner and the condo are SO WONDERFUL! TOTALLY UNOBSTRUCTED VIEW OF THE GULF, without having to pay the 'beachfront $$$'. It's SO QUAINT, I feel like it's my personal condo and I go back time and time again. YOU CANNOT GO WRONG! Have Fun! You'll thank me later!
What a great vacation. Perfect weather for my husband to golf. The condo is very comfortable, well stocked and has a great ocean view. We were able to watch the dolphins while having our morning coffee on the deck. We have used this condo before and hope to again. Love the owner.
We have stayed at these condos for over 10 years for my birthday. We have discovered by far this unit being one of the best. My best friend and I would arrive initially for some girls time alone. Then my husband and family would arrive later. The view is amazing!!! It is unobstructed and you can see the crystal blue water from each room. If the water is too choppy that day after observing the beach flag, there is plenty to do. We really enjoy spending the day at the Gulfarium. The family can save money also by eating in with the fully furnished kitchen and outside grill. Our favorite part is spending time together at the beach playing in the waves and looking for sand dollars. Due to being in walking distance, if one person gets tired and wants to take a nap they can go up, while the others stay. The condo is comfortable, roomy and clean. The owner is easily accessible and great to work with. We will be back this year and for many years to come!!! KLS
