About Carlos Romagosa

Architect, scientific journalist and active musician, film and theater actor. Multifaceted, communicator and emotional counselor of younger generations. After practicing tennis (R.C.T. Barcino) I am now part of the Remo team (R.C.Maritimo). Component of the traditional Cuban music group Son de la Rambla (see on youtube). Born in Barcelona, I love to get to know my city with practical and useful expilications. I was born in the neighborhood where I live, the Eixample, where the Catalan bourgeoisie built the best editions of this city. I usually move in the excellent public transport of Barcelona, and also with my bike and the municipal system Bicing. The car is not necessary in Bcn.

Because it is located in the best place of Barcelona, in the main architectural and artistic center, where the best works of Modernism, the architects Gaudí, Puig i Cadafalch or Domenec i Montaner are located.

Perfectly well connected, with Metro and Bus, with stops at 1 minute low.

Living in a house in the Eixample designed by Ildefonso Cerdá between 1890 and 1920, Patromonio Artístico, I think it is something unique

Which I like other people from other places to know. This is not a tourist apartment vulgar: it is the house where I live and I open to the sensitive and educated people.

What makes this condo unique

Metro and bus to 1 minute: communications are exceptional. The neighborhood is one of the most elegant and selective in Barcelona, with buildings built by the Catalan bourgeoisie between 1890 and 1930, and where today live authentic Barcelona. It is not a tourist district and that has a special charm. And above all, it is very safe.

I usually live in this apartment, inherited from my parents, where I spent days of childhood filled with good memories. Now I like to let other people enjoy this location and the charm of this apartment, where the glazed Mediterranean gallery is an essential part where the sun comes in the morning and the light all day.

Comfortable, well-appointed apartment in great location!

This two bedroom apartment is roomy and light. The kitchen is well-equipped for whatever food preparation one might want to do, and the neighborhood has many varied restaurants for those who prefer to eat out. Carlos is a warm and welcoming host who is available to address any questions about the area, the metro system, local attractions, and shops. The location is perfect, near bus and metro lines to Barri Gotic and El Born, as well as La Familia Sagrada and the most recently opened Gaudi gem, Casa Vincens. La Pedrera and Casa Batllo are within easy walking distance. I have stayed in numerous VRBO properties in Europe, Canada, and the US. This is one of the best!

Owner's Response: When someone is an experienced traveler, everything is easy and positive. Leslie has been this perfect guest; Leslie has travelled and has developed all her capacities of "survival" with decision and knowledge of his aims. Tidy, clean (it has left the perfectly quiet house), silent and respectful with the procedure. An independent, free, curious and determined traveler.

Excellent apartment in a great location

This is big and clean apartment located in very nice residential area very close to main attractions in Eixample and Gracia. The owner is very nice, helpful and approachable for questions. We would definitely stay here during our next visit in Barcelona.

Super Lage, freundlicher Gastgeber

Die Wohnumg liegt sehr zentral, ist hell und ruhig. Von dort kann man überall gut hinkommen und benötigt nicht immer öffentliche Verkehrsmittel. Der Vermieter Carlos ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit.
