Pool slimy & dirty rooms ant infested

  • 1 of 5

The property pictured is large and expansive but the bit you rent as you look at the picture, is from garage door to the opposite end. It states fridge/freezer, the freezer is a small top compartment of the fridge, so be aware of this is you were to go as a family of 4 or more there is no provision to store frozen foods or food in general. As you view the "kitchen" area that is what it is "area" not suitable to cook for a family meal, you also have to use a microwave as an oven which was situated next to the tv, & if there was children of any age this would be a hazard & accident waiting to happen. The bedroom we use with one double bed, although ants about, was comfortable with plenty of storage. The bathroom although ants about was a good size, but i had to clean the area and scrub the shower head to get a decent flow from it. The settee a sofa bed was very low to the floor and like sitting on a board, not suitable for the mobility impaired, the tv only had foreign channels so if you've children who like tv don't take them unless they & yourselves understand foreign language and like to watch sky news constantly? The wi-fi signal is almost none existent in the living/sleeping area, you have to go upstairs to the pool area, but my ageing laptop of three years, wouldn't pick up the signal as it didn't seem strong enough. Once upstairs by the pool, then your ant are the usual amount you would find outdoor's in hot countries , but make sure to spray your rooms before you leave as the little blighters will invade if you don't & be aware they are the redish colour ones which iv'e been told bite, this could have been the cause of the bites on my hubby's legs, or it could have been from the slimy & dirty, pool, sides & bottom, and the water so thick with dirt you couldn't see through it, he braved using it on 3 occasions, braver than me. Ruined our holiday as we like to sunbath then take a dip to cool off, also be aware there are no toilet facilities on the top floor where the pool is, so if you feel brave enough to book, with this thought of sweaty or wet swimwear & body's its a long trek down to the toilets. There is no safe to lock away the passports or money, but the area seemed laid back and quiet, the "Villa" was well locked up if you left it! The washer saved me taking loads of washing home, so there's a good point. We never used the other bedroom, but there were ants and we still sprayed upto 3 times a day. I'm assured by the owner, things will be sorted

Owner's Response: My biggest question is, why complain, if you know these things before reservation? And why didn't you call me if you find any problems? If you think the villa isn't suitable, please don't book it. - The pictures of the rooms and villa, revealed there size and how things are situated. (See also my advertisement and website). - In an e-mail conversation is explained that the house is of Dutch owners so there is Dutch Television with free to the air station. I've send a list of all channels. - Because the area is very large, the WIFI is reach is not everywhere very strong, again in an e-mail conversation I've explained where the signal is strong and where not. At least but most important If guest find any trouble in the villa, please contact me immediately or the manager in Spain. So that we can help you. I don't live in Spain, but the Netherlands. The manager in Spain is always reachable by phone and leaves near to the villa. We wish and want to make your vacation so comfortable/nice as possible.

Gran piscina

  • 5 of 5

  • 1 of 5

  • 4 of 5

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. We are sorry for your inconvenience regarding sewerage. The owner as well as Ismael (contact in Spain) have put everything in place to solve the problem as quickly as possible. Fortunately, the property also has a second shower and toilet, which you can use. Again, our apologies and it's nice to hear that you have had a nice holiday. Sincerely, Nasrien & Siem

Eenvoudig ingericht, heerlijke zwembad en speelruimte, prachtig uitzicht

  • 4 of 5

Handdoekenpakket is minimaal.

In the village Macisvenda introduces you to the locals. They are very nice and extremely friendly people. In the village there is a restaurant among others, cafes, bakery, local supermarkets, sports center, health center, school and church. Besides Macisvenda is dichtsbijzonde villages Aspe, Barinas, Hondon, Albatera, Abanilla. It's super fun to daytime or evening stroll along the shops, restaurants. It is also nice to sit on a terrace and enjoy the climate and the beautiful view. Do you feel busier area you can go to Elche, which is the nearest large town (about 20 minutes away by car). Elche is again fun to visit is authentic and modern at once. There are a beautiful palm gardens, zoo and a super winkelcomplek genaam l'Aljub indoor shopping until 22:00 in the evening, of course, also there are heaps of restaurants on site. Do you fancy beach then you can go to Orihuela Costa and Alicante, Torrevieja (which is around 40 minutes away by car). Alicante is a famous place in Costa Blanca, sitting there including the airport. Cozy is the beach, which is nice blue and clean. Also you can be cozy evenings walking and eating. Throughout the year there are cozy booths along the beach there where you can buy delicious food rummage and baked peanuts. Also you can have a delicious dinner at cheap prices. Restaurant there are varied and diverse cuisines also think of authentic Spanish but also Indies, chinese, McDonald's, Burger King, Moroccan, English, Dutch, Italian, Pizza etc.

Fun activities include theme parks: As Safari Park (Elche), Pola Park (Santa Pola), bowling, ice skating, diving, jet skiing, kite surfing, caves visits, shopping in the huge indoor Centro Commercials, island visits, dinner show Casino and many more.
