About the apartment:

This 3 bedroom, 3 bathrooms, 120sqm apartment is located on the 5th floor of a secure, residential building with a lift. Newly refurbished, it features wood-beamed ceilings and hardwood flooring throughout and offers some charming views of the rooftops of Paris, rue de Buci and boulevard Saint Germain.

Upon entering, you’ll find the large living area equipped with two oversize L-shaped sofas, a coffee table and a flat-screen TV with cable. The living room opens up to the kitchen and dining area. One of the sofas can be converted into a bed to sleep a 7th guest if required. Extra linens will be provided for this bed.

The fully equipped kitchen comes with a refrigerator/freezer, induction stove, oven, microwave, teakettle, coffee machine and more. Full sets of cutlery and crockery are provided along with pots and pans and other utensils. There is a dining table and chairs for 6 should you feel like staying in an enjoying a meal at home instead of going out to one of the many neighbourhood restaurants. There is a washing/drying machine so you can pack lightly and save room in your luggage for those special Parisian souvenirs. An iron and board are also provided.

Head up the stairs to reach the three bedrooms. The bedrooms all feature large double beds, bed tables with lamps and ample storage space for your belongings. All bedding, pillows and sheets are provided and you will find each of the beds neatly made on arrival. The bedrooms are well-isolated thanks to their double-glazed windows.

Each of the 3 en-suite bathrooms has a shower or a combination shower/bathtub. In the first two en-suite bathrooms you will find a sink, mirror and toilet. The third toilet is located in a separate water closet on the lower level. Luxurious and fluffy bath towels are provided for each guest. There is also a hair dyer in the flat so no need to pack one! Complementary toilet rolls, shower gel, shampoo and hand soap are also included to start of your stay.

The apartment is heated throughout during the winter months. There is no air conditioning but we will be happy to provide you with fans for your stay should warm weather be in the forecast.

A member of our Welcoming Team will meet you upon arrival, give you the keys and a tour of the apartment and its appliances, help you to connect to the Wi-Fi and more. You’ll find a personal guidebook in the apartment with tips and suggestions on where to eat and shop in Paris.

About the 6th Arrondissement:

If you weren’t yet convinced to book from the apartment itself, just consider the property’s location right in the center of Saint Germain des Pres. This famous Left Bank neighbourhood, known as the “Rive Gauche��� to Parisians, has been a long time-favourite of intellectuals and artists. At your doorstep you’ll find a huge array of restaurants, bistrots, cafés, ice cream parlours, florists, artisan chocolatiers, art galleries and much more! Be sure to make a stop at Le Bon Marché during your stay in the 6th Arrondissement.

Within walking distance of the apartment are the must-see Luxembourg Gardens, perfect for a morning jog, afternoon picnic or sunset stroll. The River Seine is also within walking distance so you can go to the Louvre or Notre Dame easily on foot. The Latin Quarter is a stone’s throw away with sights such as La Sorbonne and the newly refurbished Pantheon. Walk over to Le Marais district for shopping and dining on Sunday while the rest of the city is at rest.

With its close proximity to two Paris Metro stations, Mabillon (Line 10) and Saint Germain des Pres (Line 4), accessing other areas of the capital is extremely easy. Just hop on the Metro to reach the Eiffel Towel, Champs Elys��es and the Arc de Triomphe, Montmartre and the Sacre Coeur and more!

- Check-in starts from 3:00PM. A member of our Welcoming Team will meet you at the apartment. Late check-in fees apply after 7:00PM.

- Check-out is by 10:00AM.

- Final cleaning fee: 130 €

- Damage Deposit. A 400€ damage deposit payment is required before arrival

- Smoking. All of our apartments are non-smoking.

- Pets. Unfortunately furry friends are not allowed in any of our homes.

- Parties. The apartment is not suitable for parties and the maximum number of guests should not exceed 7 people.

A 50% down payment is required at the time of booking. The remaining 50% is to be paid in cash on arrival.

A valid credit card must be provided at the check-in for a pre-authorization of the damage deposit. This deposit will be returned to you after the checkout, provided no damage is caused to the flat.

Late check-in: In the instance that you arrive between 7:00PM and 9:00PM there will be a 30 € late check-in fee, if you arrive even later, between 9:00PM and 11:00PM the check-in fee will be 50 €. Between 11:00PM and 1:00AM the check-in fee will be 80 €. After 1:00AM there will be a 100€ check-in fee.

Fantastic location

This apartment is located in the heart of St. Germaine de Pres on a lively street filled with good restaurants and cafes. There is a grocery store two blocks away, a wine store, wonderful shops, and great food. The third floor loft bedroom has no toilet, but it is light and airy. The beds are queens except the loft, and it is a king bed. There is a toilet and sink on the living room/kitchen level, an ensuite toilet and bathroom in the master bedroom and hall toilet for the second bedroom on the next floor, and a sink and shower on the loft floor. Importantly, there is an elevator!!! We would stay there again!!!

Great location; some issues

Terrific location for shopping, cafes, restaurants. Near Metro and taxis. Walking distance to all left bank sights. However there were a couple of issues. We were three couples and, unfortunately there were only two keys available, not one for each couple. This limited our independence. We asked the managers for an additional key, but were told that it was not possible. A bummer.

The listing stated that there were two 2nd floor en suite bedrooms, (i.e. each with full bath sink, tub/shower and toilet) and a third floor loft bedroom with shower and sink only, the toilet for the 3rd floor loft was off the second floor hallway. Upon arrival we found that one of the 2nd floor bedrooms had only sink and tub. The toilet was the same toilet off the second floor hall and shared with the occupants of the 3rd floor loft bedroom. Not as expected. And the apartment could use a fresh coat of paint.

But we had a terrific week in Paris with beautiful April weather.

As indicated in the long description and in the photo descriptions, there is one water closet in the flat with a toilet. The apartment has two "salle de bain", literally translated in French to "bath-room", or a room for taking baths. In France is is not uncommon to have the toilet separate from the bathroom and most Parisians actually prefer it this way as it allows many people to use various bathroom facilities at the same time. We apologize for the issues you experienced. Thank you very much for taking the time to submit such a sincere and thorough comment. It sounds like you made the most of your stay and took advantage of the great location. Misrepresented, kitchen lacked enough coffee cups for six, not particularly clean or well kept

Misrepresented as three bedroom all with in-suite toilets and water closet on first floor. Only one has complete bath in-suite. Third floor bedroom has to go down narrow steps to use a water closet. They knew we had six adults in our party, there were only three coffee cups. Take pictures on arrivals there are numerous scuff marks on the walls of most rooms, to ensure you get all of your deposit back. Check in was a major hassle, they demanded Euros in person for the second half payment, and I had to get on my pc and prove I was the one who paid the first half!! Even though I had an email chain on my phone dating to the beginning. We left the place Cleaner than we found it. Location is very good.

Amazing location, understand the layout/bathrooms before booking

This flat is in a perfect location - near restaurants, bakeries, stores etc. Easy walk to Louvre and D'Orsay. The flat is on three levels and has three bedrooms. The description implies/states that each bedroom has an en-suite bath. This is not the case. The top bedroom has a shower (with marginal headroom) and a sink. The most accessible toilet for this bedroom is down a steep, winding staircase in the hallway of the second floor. The second bedroom has a "bath/shower" and a sink. It too, has no toilet in the room. It shares the hall toilet with the third bedroom. The "bath/shower" consists of a tub with a handheld shower device (not on the wall, no shower curtain). The third bedroom has a similar "bath/shower" and is the ONLY bedroom with a toilet. The third toilet is on the first floor. The apartment was clean. There was nothing welcoming about it - no welcome note, wine etc. (not required but always nice!). The hand-off to get in was glitchy. We waited for 20 minutes past the confirmed meeting time on a street corner. Repeated calls were handled poorly. Would strongly recommend this if you understand what you're getting in terms of the layout and like the location. Not a good choice for couples traveling together but would work great for families.

Great apartment in great neighborhood

My wife and I and two kids just returned from 7 days in Paris staying in this apartment. Highly recommend this place!

Rachel met us on time and showed us around the place. In fact, she was early and phoned us as we were on our way from the airport. Snow made us late and she patiently waited for us. The apartment is just as pictured. Bright and spacious living room and kitchen and 3 bedrooms and baths over the top 3 floors of the building. Tasteful, modern restoration in an old building. Wooden floors, exposed beams. It was so nice to have plenty of room to spread out and relax at the end of day's walking around the city. Kids had their own rooms. Beds are super comfortable and heaters worked really well (We were there during a cold week in March). Entry is modern, with keypad entry.

Neighborhood is fantastic. Close to 2 metro lines, tons of cafes, bakeries, and grocery store. The gourmet deli Col de Cochon next door was one of our favorites. We stocked up on french meats, cheeses, breads, and wine for 2 dinners in the apartment. The Paul bakery at the end of the block is a good choice for morning coffee and croissants, but there are other choices as well. If you're looking for crepes, visit Little Breizh, 2 blocks away. Classic, traditional Breton dishes, and friendly staff. We all loved it.

It's a bustling area, but the apartment was off the main boulevard and quiet. We walked to most of the major tourist attractions along the Seine --- Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, Notre Dame, etc. and took the metro to others.

The only negative might be that the glass elevator in the building is small (basically holds 1 adult and 1 child closely). Works well -- modern, but small -- elegantly tucked inside the building's circular wooden staircase. Wasn't an issue for us at all.

We would definitely stay here again when we return to Paris.

Very spacious accommodations in a great location!

Easily accommodated our family of 6 adults. Excellent neighborhood with easy access to metro, shops and sites.

It was unfortunate that we didn't have use of the laundry or one of the tubs while there. The maintenance came out but was unable to fix during our stay (perhaps due to the holidays).

A more thorough check in may have helped with small things like trash bin location, etc.
