Welcome to Ocean Views our brand new unique 5 Star relaxation haven. Whether you prefer a beach holiday with the children or a quiet relaxing holiday with friends Ocean Views is defiantly the place for you.

Ocean Views is a beautiful four storey Victorian property, situated in a stunning elevated position overlooking the red coastline from Brixham to Exmouth, conveniently located a short 5 minute walk away from the idyllic seaside town of Dawlish.

Dawlish is the home to the black swan; it is surrounded by Jurassic red sandstone cliffs and fronted by a sandy beach. The Riviera Line railway runs along the South Devon sea wall, Dawlish Station is less than 10 minute’s walk from the property making it convenient when travelling around the local area.

Our rooms are large with unlimited sea views, they are light and tastefully decorated with luxurious furnishings, giving the property a cosy and warm ambience.

Our main reception area oozes luxury, with sumptuous Chesterfield sofas, plush cushions, soft lamps and even a life-sized suit of armour for those all-important selfies. That’s not all, why not extend your viewing pleasure out to sea using our beautiful full sized ornate telescope, as the sky-high Victorian bays give you uninterrupted sea views.

Relax in our hot tub at any time of day with family and friends, watching the beautiful coastline while the warm invigorating jets help you unwind.

By day our veranda gives stunning views of coastline, with its rock pools and sandy beaches. By evening relax in our inviting shabby chic dining area, while watching the sun go down over the horizon with family or friends.

Our second reception/games room offers Sky TV, a Wii machine with a selection of games, PS3 also with a selection of games including Call of Duty, toys, board games and books to keep the children (and big children!) entertained and happy leaving the adults time to relax.

Outside the garden meanders down to our latte/bistro corner lovingly named Platform 9 3/4, where the railway line runs past. You can view locomotives, Choo Choo’s or high-speed trains while sipping coffee from the coffee machine located in the kitchen.

The kitchen is well equipped with all mod cons as well as additional items for your convenience such as a coffee maker, slow cooker and for the little ones, a blender.

Our property comfortably sleeps 10 people (plus cot) in five spacious 10 ft. high bedrooms most of which have stunning sea views; the main bedroom has the additional benefit of an en suite.

For your convenience, linen and towels are provided in all bedrooms.

There is also a family bathroom with bath and gorgeous enclosed rain shower, plus two additional WC’s. Complementary toiletries are provided throughout.

There is Internet reception, Sky TV in both receptions, 2 Apple docks for IPhone 4/5 and IPods located in the 1st reception room and the kitchen.

Every effort has been taken to ensure your holiday is a success. Nets and buckets are at your disposal for rock pooling at a moment’s notice as the tide recedes. Several pairs of wellies and walking sticks for the climbers are provided.

Large bean bags are located all over the property so if you see a lovely spot, throw one down, sit and be cosy for the afternoon.

The house is built uniquely into the 185-million-year-old Jurassic coastline that envelops the southwest. From the foot of the garden any keen geologists can physically touch and explore the fossils frequently found jutting out of the rock. Palaeontologists have a field day examining crustaceans embedded in the rock face; we defy any child not to find this fascinating.

We would love repeat business from our guests and so offer a discount for repeat visits annually. Please be assured as a family business we rely on your great feedback and social recommendations for tomorrow’s bookings, we go the extra mile for you.

Our check in clerk Tony will be present on your arrival at 3pm to introduce you to the property, help with your baggage and answer any questions. Tony personally travels over 200 miles just to make sure you are all checked in safely and are happy with our accommodation.

This is a great house all very well appointe in a superb location.

Excellent venue for our group with good accomodationwhich suited us very well, be aware of the

Number of stairs when booking. The venue is great if you don't want to use the car as the buses and trains can get you to lots of interesting places.

Lovely Accommodation with Amazing Views

This is a massive family home fully equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The views from the rear of the house are amazing and a real treat to wake up to. Parking outside the house is first come first served and not always available, but there is free roadside parking a short walk away. I think there just needs to be a little more tlc as the BBQ is 'tired', the lights in the spa room didn't work, and the cleaner could do with an extra 30 minutes to finish the job. All in all an amazing place which we will gladly stay at again when visiting Dawlish.

Clean, Comfortable, Spacious, with a really friendly feel about it.

We had a wonderful week at Ocean Views, I had booked it for my Husbands 60th Birthday and I managed to get all the children off work at the same time. He has always been a railway fan, and the trains were an added bonus for him. The sunrise over the English Channel is a beautiful site and had us up and about very early. Dawlish is a really pretty small town with water flowing through the middle hosting the Black Swans and lots of other birds.

The sea was very entertaining, some of the days, with waves crashing over the sea wall, safely watched from the terrace. We took a circular walk following Dawlish Water into the countryside eventually arriving at Eastcliffe Park, Teignmouth, Then down to the sea wall for Tea and cake. Then Back to Dawlish along the sea wall, Trains on one side, crashing waves on the other.

Birthday Tea was supplemented by a lovely Chocolate Birthday Cake left by perfect host Tony. All in all a brilliant week enjoyed by us all.

Pretty good

Although the weather wasn't good,we enjoyed our stay.The property is in a good location although the parking was difficult at times.There were rather too many stairs for us,especially with young children.It is nicely furnished ,with plenty of room.The top bedroom has no curtains,which made it difficult to sleep after about 5 am,and the basin in the ensuite is so small that we found it difficult to clean our teeth in,let alone shave.

The hot tub was popular,and lots of toys etc for all to enjoy!

We have received many comments regarding the views from the property onto the beach/sea preferring an uninterrupted view but we have decided to fit curtains/blinds into the Penthouse Room so that guest can cover the windows at certain times for the purpose of sleep. Very good but few issues

If you want space and views then this is the place to be . Lovely house just needed a few touches for us .

Pillows need refreshing and protectors would have been good

Ironing of bedding would have given better impression.

Understand completely concept of views from top bedroom and it was great to see stars from bed but please put some blinds up as need to sleep .

Fantastic!

Superb , such a great place to stay with family or friends. The views are just spectacular! The beach and town are in walking we didn't use the car all week! We arranged a Tesco delivery and they found it with ease. Would definitely return again.

The seaside town of Dawlish neighbours Dawlish Warren on the south coast of Devon and, with its glorious bay and a dramatic coastline, it's the perfect setting for the spectacle that is, 'Dawlish Air Show'.

Each year this event attracts tens of thousands of people to watch an array of aircraft take to the sky at this award winning air show.
