La Cala De Mijas at the heart of the Costa Del Sol, only a short distance from Malaga, situated between Marbella and Fuengirola. You will love the charm of this old fishing pueblo, unspoilt by mass tourism with golden beaches. The urbanisation of mainly bungalows and apartments is close to all amenities with shops, bars, restaurants, public transport links and beaches all within easy walking distance (5 minutes). Stunning landscape and manicured gardens together with a large swimming pool and children´s splash pool. It makes the perfect choice for your relaxing holiday in the sun. This 1 bedroom apartment is south facing with a nice terrace overlooking the private gardens and pools with the Med beyond and on a clear day, views of Africa. There is also plenty of room for parking.The Apartment also has WIFI available and Hot and Cold Air-Conditioning. It has recently been refurbished to a very high standard!

We have both lived in La Cala for 8 years now and we purchased this property because we love the location and surrounding area.

What makes this apartment unique

We looked at many properties before purchasing this Apartment. We loved it as soon as we walked into it. The sea views from the terrace and the view over looking the pools are fantastic and on a clear day with views of Africa. We purchased two apartments next to one another which is ideal for family and friends holidaying together. The apartment has been completely refurbished with new furniture, new bathroom and new electrics and Air Con (Hot and Cold) throughout. WIFI is also available!

La Cala de Mijas is one of the original fishing villages situated on the Costa del Sol, in the province of Malaga. A charming village with a restored Moorish tower, a friendly village atmosphere and lots of appeal.

Located between the towns of Fuengirola and Marbella, close to popular urbanization of Calahonda, La Cala de Mijas is a very popular town with many good restaurants, shops, chemist and beach-front bars. Malaga International Airport is just 20 minutes drive away.

The town offers a nice easy paced life, not taken over completely by tourism, but with good facilities, a lovely golden sand beach and close to larger towns offering more action.

Golf

La Cala Golf, Santana Golf, El Chapparral and Mijas Golf are all located within the vicinity and offer excellent conditions for a round or two of golf.

Eating Out

La Cala de Mijas might be small, but it is packed with dining out choices. From typically Spanish 'Menu del Dia' restaurants, seafood, a Goan Indian Restaurant, British, Thai and a good old Irish pub. Spoilt for choice you will be and if not then hop in the car and pop to Fuengirola, where the choice is even greater.

Places to visit:

The cultural city of Malaga is just 30 minutes drive away, the vibrant and happy town of Fuengirola and traditional Mijas Pueblo, both just 10 minutes, and upmarket Marbella, to the west, approximately 20 minutes drive. La Cala de Mijas offers a perfect holiday base to go off and visit other parts of the coast, the bus from the town centre, can take you to Marbella and Fuengirola town centres.
