1 Bedroom/ 1 bathroom, A/C, Italian shower, apartment with high range equipment to afford best comfort.
This property is located in the famous rue Saint Honoré, in a historical building constructed at the beginning of the 17th century. Located in the center of Paris, the apartment is surrounded by the Louvre Museum, the Seine River, the Saint Eustache Church, the Pompidou center and the Cité and Saint Louis islands, meaning all tourist attractions can be easily reached on foot. The metro stations Louvre , Pont Neuf and Chatelet are less than 200 meters away from the apartment.
Designed by an architect to accomodate a couple, this property can also fit a child in the mezzanine bed. It was finished in July 2014, is fully equipped and provides the same comfort as a luxurious hotel room.
The living room opens on to an outside area, originally part of the building's courtyard and covers approximately one third of the living room.
This area has real jasmine flowers on the left and a few others exposed as a decoration; there is also a black table and 2 chairs for you to enjoy a typical Parisian breakfast. Of course, no parties or excessive noise are allowed in this area.
The living room has a sofa for 2-3 persons, a built-in television, a bar as a dining area with marble on it and A/C monitor. This area is very bright as it has a glass and wood joist ceiling.
The kitchen is equipped with a micro-wave, fridge/freezer, stoves, Nespresso coffee machine, a kettle and all that is needed for eating and cooking.
The living room opens on to the bedroom but can be hidden with a blackout curtain to create darkness in the bedroom.
The bedroom is also very well equipped with a queen size bed (160x190 centimeters) and offers the new technology known as memory foam . There is plenty of space under the bed to store empty suitcases.
The bedroom opens on to the bathroom designed with glass all around it. The glass has a plastic film designed to afford privacy.
The removable stair leads to the mezzanine with its single bed of 90*190. The stair can be fixed to the wall or perpendicular to the bed and was especially made for this use.
The mezzanine has parquet flooring and bed lights to provide comfort for a teenager or a child.
The main bathroom has toilets on the left side which cannot be seen from the bedroom as the sliding door has an opaque plastic film to avoid visibility and keep privacy. On the right side is the Italian shower with a removable blind for whoever wants to preserve privacy. The bathroom has a brand new Stark Japanese toilet which is increasingly used in hotels but very rare to find in a private apartment. Of course, these toilets can be used as regular ones.
The apartment is 24sqmt and is designed not to waste any space but of course, certain areas are fairly small such as the kitchen (55 centimeters, less than 2 feet). Half a floor under the apartment, (8 stairs) is the laundry room with a brand new washer and dryer.
I made my agency GLAMAPARIS in 2007 and decided to buy my first apartment in 2013. Managing this agency specialized in furnished apartment in Paris, I made my best with my architect to have a high range property in this limited space.
Damien MARCEL (GLAMAPARIS) purchased this apartment in 2013
This property has an exceptional location, rue Saint Honoré.
It is very special as it gives onto a courtyard accessible through the apartment itself. It is a sunny property thanks to the glass roof in the living room.
The bathroom was thought to be exceptionnal with high range equipements, italian shower, japanese toilet, sink, miror, headshower with light indicating the temperature.
The outside area is useful for a coffee in the morning or to have a dinner.
Clean and well maintained. Super service at entry and throughout the stay. Everything you need for a great visit in Paris, and the location can't be beat.
With amazing service to boot! Thanks Paul for your warm welcome and hospitality - will definitely stay at the apt again the next time I'm in Paris!

Located a short couple of blocks from the Louvre and 4 or 5 blocks to Notre Dame, the location couldn't have been better. Lots of restaurants and stores in the area. Metro one block away. The apartment was clean, cozy and quiet. The property manager, Samia, was great and very helpful. We would highly recommend this apartment.
We (a family of two) lived in this small, but cozy, comfortable and reasonably priced apartment in the historic center of Paris for 10 days, and we really enjoyed our stay there. In our opinion, this place provides an optimal combination of such criteria as location (which includes both a short walking distance to the major tourist attractions/museums and safety of the neighborhood), amenities (well-equipped kitchenette, free Wi-Fi, phone, cable TV, a bathroom with Japanese toilet and full-size shower, and a laundry room with washer and dryer on the premises), as well as the cost. We certainly recommend this rental property to everyone, who wishes to spend a pleasant vacation in Paris on a budget.
More comments for the interested ones: The apartment is situated on a high 1st floor of a renovated 17th-century building. The entrance to the building from the street is secured with the code lock. The owner’s company representatives are nice and courteous. Samia, who accompanied us to the apartment, showed us the amenities and explained in detail how the things work. Later on, when we had questions (for example, how to use particular appliances), we e-mailed Samia, and she responded promptly.
The apartment space is small (not surprising for a historic downtown of Paris), but it worked just fine for 2 of us. The owner remodeled it in a modern style meticulously, to fit in all the necessities. The bathroom/shower is situated quite close to the bed, but that never bothered us. It is separated from the bedroom with a glass wall (the intimate places covered with frosted glass and roll-down curtain). The Japanese toilet is a nice perk. Unfortunately, we were unable to experience all of its features, because the remote control battery seemed to die. However, we did like the toilet lit in dark, and warming the seat is pampering – especially during the cold season. Although the apartment has no windows looking at the street, the room is light due to the skylights. A small private patio that is open to the inner yard is a nice addition, where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening – if the weather permits.
Other important things to consider: There are two metro stations within 5 min walk, Louvre Rivoli and Les Halles. A boulangerie with fresh baguettes, quiches and delicious pastries sold starting at 7:20 am, a butcher’s and grocery stores and several cafés/bistros are across the street or around the corner. Enjoy your time in Paris!
The stay was excellent exactly what we wanted and in a great and safe area. Perfect for a couple! The team at GlamaParis is excellent especially Paul who was very attentive. Thank you for your hospitality!
We enjoyed our week in this little apartment. Although it is very cozy, it has everything you need for a nice stay in Paris. Every thing is first rate. Most importantly the bed is comfortable and the shower is great. There are plenty of restaurants close by, a great fruit market and the best baguette in Paris (according to some vote of the people). Paul was very attentive to our requests. We would recommend this apartment.
The apartment is centrally located in the first arrondissement. Within sight of the Louvre museum, nearly every monument is easily accessible by foot or by me-tro.
The neighborhood manages to feel both chic and charming: not only filled with fine restaurants and designer boutiques, but with outdoor markets, bakeries, and specialty food shops.
