Island Living

Our first adventure with renting a house on an island. The house was well equipped with updated bathrooms and kitchen. Even in August there was no need for air conditioning with the great breeze off the lake. We spent a lot of time in the Gazebo and enjoyed a fire in the pit each evening. The marina was close, and major grocery stores were about a 20 minute drive. I would recommend getting a map of the lake if you are not familiar with it. There are areas you need to avoid. The marina is a bit tight but the guys that run it are absolutely amazing!! For a small fee they will also transport your things & guests to the island. So no worries, they will help you out. Two thumbs up for this little retreat!!

The property is perfect and the house is completely stocked.

What a wonderful spot on the lake. We saw beautiful sunsets and enjoyed the dock and beach area. It was a fabulous experience from beginning to end!

Beautiful island home with great accommodations!

We absolutely had a great experience staying here this year! The owners have done a lot to make the outdoor space very enjoyable; from the outdoor, covered seating area with lighting and fan, the sandy beach, the hammock, the deck and a great boat dock. We spent almost all of our leisure time outdoors enjoying a book or an evening cocktail watching the sun go down. The convenient access to Harilla Landing Marina makes it easy to get to mainland activities and shopping. The owners are very accommodating and easy to work with too! We'll definitely be back.
