It’s time to start planning your stay. Fall foliage, fall fishing, Thanksgiving and Christmas at the Mansions in Newport, or the Christmas shows at the casinos. Book early for the great lower rates.
Beautiful, recently renovated, 2 spacious bedrooms, 1 full bath beach cottage located on Old Post Road in Westerly. The cottage is located in the secluded cottage village of The Pine Lodge, nestled between the Connecticut Casinos and the grand mansions of Newport. The cottage is situated on nine acres of wooded privacy. The cottage is 5 min to the premier surfing and surf casting beaches on the east coast. You can just go to the beach and bask in the sun as well. Fun and relaxation is the order of the day. Experience Rhode Island's world class sport fishing from the deck of a charter boat, or enjoy the sunrise at Weepapaug Beach then take the ferry to Block Island for a day of site seeing. Come, stay and relax in Westerly.
Great place. Easy access to everything. Cute house Perfect location. Excellent amenities. We highly recommend this place for a nice getaway
Had a great time at the cottage with my friends! This beach house we stayed at was neat, clean, and nicely furnished. We had everything we needed in the cottage. We had a fun and relaxing weekend. We would without doubt come back to this cottage again! Thank you!
Our stay was very relaxing and comfortable, with the cottage as represented. The weather was too cool and breezy to enjoy the nice outdoor seating, but the view from the kitchen of the wooded back yard is lovely. The washer and dryer were much appreciated. This made a good base for our exploring, and we visited Mystic Seaport, took the 12-minute flight to Block Island (almost completely closed down this time of year), Watch Hill and just enjoyed walking around historic Westerly. We also visited a Rotary club meeting at the Venice Restaurant, where they meet on Monday evenings. We have no trouble recommending this place and would stay again.

This was my second experience using HomeAway; and again it truly felt like a "home-away". Cottage was very clean and well kept. Owners did a great job with the "beach house" theme; I felt like I was back in Florida on the gulf coast. Kitchen was stocked with all of the necessary utensils, pots, pans, dishes, ect needed to make meals. The outdoor space was very nice, giving the option to use the front area or the back deck. i would definitely recommend staying in this house, the owners are great. They respond VERY fast to any calls and/or messages on the app.
First impressions of the outside were quite favorable. Entrance area with lots of seating and beautiful landscaping. The back deck has stools, tables, lighting and the backyard had additional areas in which to relax. Two fire pits available but bring your own wood to burn.
Cottage is cute and quaint inside. Owner provided all items necessary for our short stay. Can be bright and airy with blinds up and doors open. May want to check out pillows in both bedrooms as one had very soft ones while the others were harder.
Cottage was very clean and well maintained. We stayed here while attending a wedding in Narragansett and it was the perfect size for our family of 5. If we are ever in the area, we would definitely like to stay here again! Thank you!
Westerly is in the center of it all. From a 5 to 30 minute drive you could be on the ocean's beach or on the gaming floors at Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun Casinos. Public golf courses are 5 to 10 minutes away. One could stroll the Historic Watch Hill with its quaint shops and restaurants. A short 45-minute drive away is Ocean Drive in Newport, a street that is lined with the breath taking Newport Mansions and the Cliff Walk. If mansions are not to your liking, head down to the boating village of Galilee and Point Judith and go fishing on a large fishing charter boat. If you like to fish and do not like boats, a 20 minute drive into Connecticut you will find the historic town of Mystic, home of Connecticut’s largest aquarium and the historic Mystic Seaport Village with its Museum of America and The Sea. Once there you can climb aboard the many Early American wooden mast sailing ships. Before the end of the day stop by the wineries of North Stonington and pick up a nice bottle of wine.
