Amazing villa with stunning views!

  • 5 of 5

I cannot find words to describe the stunning views from the magnificent terrace!

The property is located on a hill just outside the main port of the island, few minutes away from some of the best beaches I've ever been.

The house itself is magnificent! It has tonnes of space inside for loads of people and a huge garden with a bbq for outdoor parties! What stands out though, is the terrace with the breathtaking views of the adjacent islands and the nearby beaches! I will never forget the nights we spent on the terrace drinking cocktails and dancing under the moonlight!

Having met the owners of this villa, I can say that it all makes sense! Aechitects by trade, they have created a beautiful HOME for their guests to enjoy their time in Andros! They are very friendly and accommodating and were always there for us with tips and advice for the little hidden treasures of the island!

What an amazing place to be!

“Delightful Stay”

  • 5 of 5

Two families (4 adults and 6 kids) stayed for a full week and we really enjoyed it. The location is fantastic and the house is warm and cozy. Feels like home. Views are amazing. Many beautiful beaches close by. Thank you Sandra for your warm and friendly welcome and all the information you shared about the island. Andros is a great destination. Will definitely be back again.

Wonderful Villa with Panoramic View

  • 5 of 5

After having the best holidays in my life i have to confess that Andros island is a great place to escape, away from the standard touristic destinations and really close to Athens(2 hours by ferry). We enjoyed swimming almost everywhere.

The water, almost in every beach, was great, especially at Vitali beach(dont go there if the weather is windy).

Furthermore, Andros surprised  me as far as the hiking is concerned and gave me the time to enjoy wonderful sceneries. We followed some trekking paths recently certified. One of them brings you to Achla beach which i recommend not to miss it.

Actually there is another trail passing from the Villa  Kiriaki and brings you to the Tower of St. Peter which they say that was constructed the 4th-3rd century BC.

As far as the Villa Kiriaki is concerned, is placed at the top of a hill with lots of terraces, gardens, privacy and great views to the Aegean sea.

Almost 10 min walking distance to Gavrio port and 15min coming back to the house. However, if you want to travel around Andros i  reccomend renting a car(not so expensive).

The Villa was a great choice for me and my family, well designed and well equipped for staying all summer. It can accomodate easily up to 12 persons. At night there is a wondefull veranda to relax and enjoy the view of the stars and of course of the sea, which you can notice from every corner of a house. Every inch of the house was decorated with objects collected from around the island and not only. We got some ideas as well which you will not find in Pinterest.

As an extra we were lucky to meet some Greek friends, go fishing with them and enjoy fresh fish afterwards.

A great place to stay and enjoy the summer by the sea. Hopefully coming back one day.

Lovely and charming villa

  • 5 of 5

On our arrival, our host prepared some of Andros specialties: wines, ouzo and cookies. All drunk end eaten. The villa is so charming. The outdoor has different terraces, the garden has different areas and even a small kitchen garden. The villa indoor has different levels, so there are lots of spaces and different ambiences. Decoration is tasty and the house is fully and completely equipped. The villa is not only a house for holidays, cold and mindless, it is a villa you wish to stay forever. The best departure to discover Andros and other Greek islands.

Superbe maison

  • 4 of 5

Owner's Response: Thank you Pierre and we really look forward to welcoming you again in the future! Unfortunately Andros as well as the other Aegean islands can get really windy during summer. all the best, ilias

ANDROS ROUTES - FOOTPATHS

OTHER SUGGESTIONS

- Kossis restaurant at Kato Fellos:

This restaurant is being managed by a local family, placed in a farm with animals, where you can taste local products.

- Aporthito art bar at Pitrofos

This bar is being managed by a local guy which transformed his traditional house to a art bar with interesting decoration and great music.

- The Hellenistic Tower of Agios Petros: Probably built in the 4th or 3rd century BC, 20m high - the tower is 8 minutes walking distance from the house, continuing the way up to the hill.

- Achla beach

- Vitali beach

- Zorkos beach

- Museum of Contemporary Art, Goulandris

The exhibitions of Goulandris museum change each summer and the main reason that we suggest you to visit it is for the architectural beauty of the Cycladic museum itself. The combination of the building itself and the concept of the museum's exhibitions give you a great idea about the work of the artist's life and process

ANDROS ROUTES - FOOTPATHS NATURE PATHS RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

Andros Routes was formed by a group of volunteers who love the island, its culture, history and beautiful landscape. Our aim is to develop sustainable tourism on the island by restoring and maintaining the ancient network of paths for hiking. Since 2012 we have restored and signposted over 160km of paths including the Andros Route, a 100km continuous path across the length of the island. In 2015 we were the first island in Europe to be recognised by the European Ramblers Association and the Andros Route was certified as one of the Leading Quality Trails – Best of Europe.
