September 2020 update:

Residence Mont Vernon is under complete renovations as per photos.
Due to the renovations it is not a safe or a quiet environment to vacation at. I will update as it progresses. Work is being completed fairly quickly. The pool will be one of the last items completed.

Presently This studio is available for long term rental only. Or any individual who understands that that it is currently a construction site.

Newly renovated (January 2019) studio apartment located in the well established Residence Mont Vernon located ON the northern portion of Orient Bay Beach. Direct steps from the residence to the beach from the old pool area.
The apartment has a complete new kitchen with built in oven, full size refrigerator/freezer. All new small appliances, kitchen furnishings. Freshly painted ...New smart TV. 1 king bed suitable for 2 adults only. Apartment is located on the third level with a balcony view of the pond/mountains, with hurricane shutters that stood up strong to Hurricane Irma. Residence Mont Vernon has direct step access to Orient Bay Beach,,, The pool & Tennis courts are not available at this time due to the passing of Hurricane Irma.
Quiet building ...Suitable for adult couples....NOT suitable for loud party goers or children.

Great place to stay

This is a nice place to stay. Mary was great. Nice kitchenette with everything you need to cook and eat in if you want. All new appliances, even tupperware to store stuff. Good shower, plenty of water, if need hotter, ask Mary. The parking lot and pool needs work as advertised, but looks like that will be happening soon. Felt safe at all times, no issues at all. The roofs are being replaced and look great! We would stay here again.

Clean, Comfortable, and Quiet

I’ve stayed here twice and each time was wonderful. For starters the owner Mary was very helpful through the entire process from booking through checkout, always in touch to make sure everything was perfect. The rental itself feels like home. Everything is pretty much brand new including all the kitchen appliances and cabinets. The kitchen is fully furnished with everything you need to cook/prepare meals. The living room is very nice sized with a couch, chair, and coffee table as well as a nice 4 seat pub style dining table. The bathroom is average size but very clean. The entire place is very well lit with lamp, ceiling, and under cabinet lighting. The AC works very well and there is a ceiling fan as well to circulate air. The bed is pretty comfortable (I don’t sleep well even in my own bed) yet I had no problems sleeping. The unit itself is close to the rear parking lot. On site is the delicious Mont Vernon Pizza which is very convenient. You can walk down Orient Beach to the continuing rebuilding restaurants and bars. It’s a convenient 5 minute drive to the Pinel Island Ferry and an 8-10 minute drive to all the restaurants in Grande Case. The pool has still not been rebuilt as of Jan 2020 but I’ve been told they will be starting on it soon (hopefully). The only slight downside to the rental is it has no ocean view. Personally this does not bother me. What you do have is a lovely view of the mountains in the center of the island and the gorgeous cloud lit sunsets every day. Overall this is a clean, well situated, affordable rental with a very attentive owner who works hard to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Perfect, quiet in great location.

The studio is recently redone and everything was perfect for us. The place is quiet, walking distance to beach and convenient to stores and restaurants. Mary is a very nice person and very caring.We rented a car and were able to see different beaches. Grand Case is a less than 10 minutes by car.
