This 800 square foot, two bedroom, one bath adobe house is great for two couples or two single people traveling together. There is a traditional adobe mud and straw plaster wall finish on the walls of the 12 x 30 great room which includes a modern country kitchen with a large island, a living and dining area, and a wood burning stove. The north and south bedrooms each have a queen bed, armoire and desk. The south bedroom has an exterior door onto a private patio. A hallway connects the two bedrooms with a spectacular bathroom with bold black and white striped tile walls, heated floor, and a stacked washer and dryer. The house enjoys access to an acre of pasture land with views West towards the cliffs along the Rio Ojo. You may see black cows grazing in the distance.
Casa Ojo is part of a former farm compound that was in the same family for three generations. In addition to Casa Ojo, the compound includes other structures that are under renovation and are not available to rent.
