Our ultra modern and stylish apartment located on the popular resort of, close to the village of Isla Plana, Spain. The apartment is furnished throughout to a high standard, and offers excellent holiday or a long term accommodation for couples and families.

The beaches, shops and restaurants are a few minute walk away from the complex, and a larger selection of beaches are to found in Puerto de Mazarrón, Bahia and Bolnuevo, a ten minute drive from the beautiful resort of Puerto de Mazarron, with it's sandy beaches, palm fringed promenade, restaurants and bars. beaches are a 10 minute walk away.

When you land pick up the car at the airport. It is normal to be charged for a full tank of fuel but then return it close to empty. You can book & reserve the car prior to going & pay for the hire when you collect it.

About Elena

We have a small family business based in London in the UK and we were looking for great holiday home away from UK to get away from the stresses and strains of working life. Likely were fortunate to find this apartment in Isla Plana. We invite guests to share our home away from home by renting out our little place in the sun.

Why Elena chose Cartagena & Mar Menor

We choose this location in a typical Spanish village, which is not highly commercialized however the area has everything you need for a perfect holiday.

What makes this apartment unique

Being only a few minutes away from the beach, the resort (one of Spain's best kept secrets) is in a privileged location between the sea and the mountains.

Located in the Bay of Mazarron, Mojon Hills enjoys a unique microclimate with over 300 days of sunshine per year and an average year round temperature of 18º Celsius.There are numerous Golf courses within a 30 mile radius, horse riding and scuba diving can be obtained locally

Within a short drive you will find the beautiful city of Cartagena which is steeped in Roman history.

Beautiful apartment perfect for relaxing .

The apartment was clean and tidy and has beautiful views. It is a perfect place to relax and unwind, the town has a few bars and a good supermarket. The little beach by the church is perfect for families with young children , the walk into town is about 15 minutes. The coastal walk to the next bay is lovely and man made so easy for push chairs, we could let our dog off and there were lots of families and other dog walkers . The supermarket in the village caters for everyone and is not expensive, there is also a lovely bakers that sells groceries .

I would recommend a car to explore the beautiful coast but it is not essential, a taxi from Port Mazarron is about 12 euro's and a couple we met used the bus service and got a taxi back. The complex is very quiet and we noticed the pool being cleaned on a daily basis. We would certainly stay again.

Peaceful

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights in late April. The town was extremely quiet, which was almost erie!! But very peaceful :) Tony met us promptly and was very helpful as we were finding the place. The apartment had a BEAUTIFUL view with a large deck which was so nice to hang out on. The little town was very cute and the beach was wonderful as well. The marina was cool to check out with restaurants along the harbour, was unfortunately a little cooler out but we spent our time cooking meals and relaxing, and what a wonderful place to do that! Seems like it would be a really fun town once high season started. The apartment had everything we needed to feel at home, with beautiful bedrooms (great shower) laundry and a nice kitchen.

Appriciated the last minute booking as well! Definitely recommend anyone to stay here. Thanks again! !

Todo fenomenal

El apartamento es tal cual aparece en las fotos, bien equipado, decoración agradable, buenas camas, limpieza impecable, terraza espaciosa... La urbanización es muy tranquila y destacaría la piscina, que está muy bien.

Ideal para ir con niños, aunque necesitas coche para ir a la playa. Muy recomendable.

DESCUIDADA

El apartamento, no estaba en las condiciones que sugieren las fotografías, el estado de los elementos era lamentable (muebles y enseres rotos), y sucio y poca intimidad (entre viviendas solo hay un muro de un metro, por lo que obviamente hagas lo que hagas te ve el vecino), esta situado en la colina debes coger el coche para bajar al pueblo y como vengas con varias maletas ó compra ves haciendo gimnasia , ¿sera por escaleras?, eso si en estas fechas bastante tranquilidad y mucho sol.

Una pena, me lo pensare dos veces antes de volver al mismo apartamento.

Owner's Response: Thanks you for your stay and review. My apologies for any inconvenience coursed. I understand that the privacy on the terrace has become an issue since the apparent next door has been recently purchased. Me and the other owner are currently working on putting up a partition between our apartments to rectify this. I'm also in the middle of getting a new key holder/property manager, as I have been getting a few complaints about the current one, in regards to cleanliness of the apartment. I am in talks with a highly recommended new one, and hope there will no longer be any issues with the cleanness of the apartment going forward from here. To address the stair issue you faced, there is a pathway to the garage located directly below the apartment, which people usually drive right up to, where there is no excess walking involved. And if a car has been rented for the duration of the stay, it is free and safe to park there. The properly manager should of also informed you of this. My apologies again. I do hope to have you stay with us again.

Agradable. Todo correcto salvo el menaje de cocina y el horno q no estaban muy limpios

Un buen alojamiento. Ideal para el verano por su terraza. En contra, no hay privacidad en la terraza con los vecinos y el sistema de aire acondicionado tiene un limitado de consumo, cosa de la que no nos enteramos hasta que dejó de funcionar por sobrepasar el límite marcado. Buenas vistas de la zona

La calidad realmente no puede considerarse como lujo, ni cerca de serlo.

Al llegar vimos q el sofa estaba muy sucio, también nos decepcionó la calidad de los Colchones, que son de muelles y además antiguos, por lo que dormimos bastante mal.

Las sabanas estaban muy viejas llenas de `pelotillas' con lo que realmente nos sorprendió q la descripcion fuese !!!lujo!!!....por otro lado, los propietarios son muy amables, nada que objetar en ese sentido y esperamos q esta critica realmente sea constructiva y mejoren la calidad para futuras ocasiones.

We recommend car hire to visit Cartagena, Mazarron and the Sierra Espuñas inland.
