Drip Dry Up is the upstairs unit of a charming oceanfront duplex. This updated vacation home has become one of the most popular on Folly. The neutral color palette, open floor plan, and abundance of natural light creates a seamless connection to the beach. The fully stocked kitchen has stainless steel appliances and a stunning ocean view. Enjoy a cup of coffee at the breakfast bar or relax in the living room and watch your favorite shows on the 50” HD television.

The bathroom contains a vanity, shower as well as a washer/dryer. The master bedroom has a queen bed, 40" 4K TV and french doors that lead out to the oceanfront deck. The second bedroom redefines bunk beds, with a king mattress on the bottom and a queen mattress on top. Each bedroom has high quality mattresses ensuring a good night’s sleep and there is queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Enjoy a premium cable package for those rare rainy days, including HBO, Showtime, Starz, and Cinemax, with high speed internet throughout the cottage. The screened in porch overlooks the pool, yard, and straight out to the ocean. This great gathering space features wood alternative flooring that protects bare feet, rocking chairs, and string lights that illuminate evenings spent listening to the waves.

Oceanfront pools are a rare find on Folly Beach, so this home is pretty special. If the waves are too rough or the water is a little chilly, this heated pool offers an oceanside oasis. Please note that the backyard, including the private beach access and heated pool, is a community space shared with the lower unit (Drip Dry Down).

Pool heaters are not operational between mid June and mid August each year.

Amazing location, wonderful pool!!!

Stay at drip dry folly upper unit was great! Location was perfect with a private beach. Heated pool was just excellent this time of year. The only suggestions we would have is cleanliness in a few areas. Couch is pretty worn, bedding stained and outdoor lounger cushions moldy. Would have loved a few beach chairs to use, some pool floats or boogie boards that weren’t cracked. This did not dampen the trip, it would have just enhanced it. Communication with management company was excellent and they were extremely responsive to a maintenance issue. Really was a beautiful property and the family had a blast! The screened in area was ideal!

Great Vacation Spot

We've stayed at "Drip-Dry Up" several times and it never disappoints. The pool is excellent and maintained at a comfortable chlorine level and always clean. The ocean views are wonderful and our family always has a wonderful stay.

Just what we needed

This was the perfect place for the two of us. It would have even been comfortable if we had brought a couple of the grandkids or come with friends. The outdoor space and the heated pool were most enjoyable, although you couldn’t really see the beach from the outside chairs on the deck since they are below the dunes but still a great space and we enjoyed being out there. We especially enjoyed just rocking on the screened in porch which has a great view of the beach. Loved the queen over king bunk bed. Beds were comfortable but the pillows could use an upgrade. Communication with management was great and everyone was very nice. Would definitely stay here again.
