Irene is very hospitable, she even bought some food for our first day!
Apartment is very spacious, very quiet and with everything you will need!
2 minutes walk to the bus stop, grocery store, restaurants and pizzeria with amazing food.
Thank you Irene!!
Our stay here was wonderful, as the house has everything you need for a longer stay near Rome. The supermarket is only 3 minutes away, the bus stop 1 minute, and several eateries a few minutes walking. the owner, Irene, was there to greet us even after our plane was 3 hours late. Beds were comfy, kitchen large, and everything was clean. The only concern anyone should have is if you plan on breaking up your day with a nap at the home. The public transportation is close and runs often, but it takes 45 minutes to get back from the center of Rome, which is not perfect for short breaks. Otherwise, this is a great home to make your base when visiting Rome. Thanks Irene!
We have stayed in Rome many times and this apartment was the best we have experienced. The owner was extremely nice and helpful and we would definitely stay there again if we could. It is in an area close to public transport and shops but far enough from the centre where there are less tourists and more locals so you can soak up the real Roman lifestyle. Thank you Irene. We had a wonderful stay.
I rented this property from Sept 20th to Nov 9th. People in the neighborhood shops were gracious and accommodating. The hardware around the corner was very helpful. The butcher near the bus stop was a delight and consistently gracious.
This property is One hour from the center of Rome. Bus 907 runs every 20 min and takes 25 min to get to Metro Batestini. 25 min From Batestini to Termini. Then you are in the place you want to start your day from.
Property owners were not responsive to attempts to contact them. Heard nothing for seven weeks despite emails. The one emergency we had was solved by a neighbor who helped find the breaker box. In over seven weeks, never laid eyes on, or got a call (except for the emergency) from owners or even an email response.
Kitchen was not well equipped. I spent over 50 euros on kitchen equipment. Heat didn't work so I bought heater, another 30 euros. Most items in Kitchen not clean (covered in sticky grease- no external vent for stove).
Beds uncomfortable. Printer not available despite wifi and printer box. The one emergency we had was solved by a neighbor who helped find the breaker box. People in upstairs unit were very loud with sounds of dragging something heavy around all hours of day and night (up to 2:00 am)
Few restaurants in the neighborhood which seemed mostly retired folks and immigrants. Graffiti everywhere, much worse than other parts of Rome.
Considering the remote location and the lack of support from the owners, I think this unit was somewhat overpriced and under cleaned. It should be noted that there family had a recent addition which may have impacted their responsiveness to the "renters".
clean, very well equipped, Irene and Marco were very friendly and helpful. We will certainly stay here next time we go to Rome. ....One suggestion, detailed instructions should be provided from subway (Battistini stn.) to Apartment.
This is very nice appartment. Spacious and well equipped. Two balconys and three TV`s are really a bonus! Irene is very friendly and heplfull. There are shops around and the bus stop is nearby.
I fully recomend this appartment !
Serdecznie polecam to mieszkanie! Przestronne, czyste, bardzo dobrze wyposażone. Przystanek autobusowy jest bardzo blisko, a z niego są dwa autobusy do metra. Właścicielka bardzo pomocna. Polecam!
