My family and another decided we would go to the Asheville area together for a long weekend. I normally seek out our rentals, but my husband took the lead and the place looked nice.
Upon arrival we had a little trouble getting in, but nothing major and overall the townhome looked cleaned and well maintained. I went downstairs, which is where we had planned to have my children, the other familes children, and my elderly father sleep. We noticed right away two different beeping noises. One noise, a smoke alarm battery and the other weren't sure about. I texted Turnkey about the matter at 3:30 in the afternoon, they quickly reponded and apoligized. They texted someone would come by 7 pm. Andy showed up after 8 and was pleasant. He said the problem with the second beeping was the HVAC unit was upstairs and he would have to send another service tech tomorrow. Marty, the townhome owner, did offer to move us into another unit, but being we had younger children and has completly unpacked, we decided we could wait until the HVAC person, who was promised the next day. My friend then asked if I had read any of the previous renters complaints, which I had not and she said, "all of the complaints were because of a broken HVAC unit make a constant beeping."
I contacted Turnkey when we arrive home and said I would like a full refund. I had a business trip I needed to leave for the following day and asked for them to please make their return call to my husband, No one has returned a call in regards to a refund.
If the home owner doesn't want to make the repairs needed to the HVAC he should stop listing the unit.
The list could go on, but I warn you aganist this company and unit.
Beautiful place, great view, very clean
Beautiful place with great view, clean, and plenty of space. I do recommend taking your own towels the ones at the condo are very rough. There were no extra trash bags and coffee pot was not working. We also had a sewage smell on the basement area on our first night. But overall very nice quiet place.

We wish we had known during your stay so that we could have helped out -- our 24/7 guest hotline is always available if anything ever comes up while staying at one of our properties. Our local Field Operations Team has since visited the home and confirmed that there is no longer any sewage smell in the basement area. We are also following up on everything else you’ve mentioned and will make sure towels are replaced as needed, the home is adequately stocked with trash bags, and the coffee maker is repaired or replaced.
