About this property

Brasstown Creek House--3 Mi. from John C. Campbell Folk School

The Brasstown Creek House is a beautiful, centrally located spot to spend some quality time, whether you're looking for peace and quiet, a base from which to explore the area, a place to stay while visiting family and friends, a place to host a gathering or to take classes at the nearby, nationally known John C. Campbell Folk School.

The Creek House can be found three miles southeast of Brasstown, NC at 8105 Old US 64 in Clay County. The Smoky Mountains surround the Creek House and provide spectacular scenery. The Creek House is situated directly on Brasstown Creek which borders the edge of the Hyatt Farm. What this means to guests is lots of fun; wading, tubing, fishing, hiking, and picnicing. Quieter enjoyments at the Creek House include watching the brown herons stalk up and down the creek looking for a likely spot to catch a few fish, and listening to the creek lull you to sleep.

Brasstown cabin
Very nice and clean. We enjoyed walking the area, family time playing games and listening to the creek right by the cabin. We enjoyed the rain on the tin roof and the area shopping.

Relaxing Sound of Rippling Water
The cabin is right on the creek, you can hear the water running all night. Great cabin with everything we needed including a hot tub on the porch overlooking the creek.

Creekhouse
Very quaint little house with deck overlooking the Ocoee. Bring with you eating utensils, blankets, and soap. Sweet little dog comes to visit. We will stay again.
